Octopus v1.1 not detecting
I keep trying to install klipper on my big tree tech octopus V1.1. I keep getting the same issue of the board, not detecting. I’ve tried a couple cables. I put it in DFU mode and it still won’t detect it. Any help would be very appreciated.

did you add the jumper on the boot connector and then press reset?
Also how do you have things wired up?
I have nothing connecting besides the usb c cable, boot0 jumper and the 5v jumper
That screenshot is for the SD card option. Are you sure you are telling it to flash using DFU?
Yes. I was trying the sd card option but now I’m trying the dfu
I had the same problem and it was the USB cable. Use the cable that came with the kit to connect the PI to the board. I was using a short one i had laying around and it caused me many wasted hours of troubleshooting.
It might be because you keep the jumper on but. On other control.baords it is a momentary press button
The idea is to press the boot while short press the reset and then release the boot. In most MCU this operation enable the boot mode to flash whatever you want.
So try this for flashing: put the jumper on boot. Short press on reset. Flash, and while flashing remove the jumper. Then after flashing your mcu reboot in normal mode (as the boot pins are not shortened anymore). It can be detected by the pi
Did you ever get it to flash?
Yes
