A few things
1) If you haven't listened to the 3Sixteen podcast Singularities it's great. Very honest and considered on the topics they choose. Loved the latest Father's Day episode even though I am not a father.
2) The Olive Twill Cargos are easily my favorite 3Sixteen pants. So comfy and awesome fit. The material and color is :chefskiss: . Would love more pairs in other colorways (light khaki maybe?). Hope these are a new constant in the lineup.
3) I have been waiting years to try to snag one of the tan wool mechanic's jackets in my size on the secondhand and it finally happened. Stoked on it.
Just overall fanboying a bit, but love the folks behind the brand and also the clothes they make.

Yeah, worth a shot. If you do like it then the big bulk bag thing you can get will probably last me like a year which isn't too bad all costed out. The $30+ single bottle is kinda painful price wise.

Yeah, I was honestly suprised at how well it works for me. Thought I got suckered by ads, but it is much better than any other (multiple expensive) shampoos I have tried.

My hair is stick straight but has always been pretty frizzy on top. The Redkin conditioner tip from mewball worked great for me vs all the others I've tried. My shampoo now is Modern Mammals (one of the non sudsy shampoos). It's the only shampoo I've ever used that really doesn't give me almost any frizz at all, drastically different from any other shampoo I've used. It's v pricey for shampoo but now I just use that plus a bit of oil vs multiple other products I used to use ( which worked inconsistency for frizz anyway) so it all evens out cost wise I think. Went from using shampoo never (due to frizz) to using it every few days with no issues.

Nice, excited to see some shots with it!
That’s all you really need. Little general rule with some vintage watches is don’t quick change the date if the time is between like 10pm and 2am as it can sometimes hurt the movement. I always just stick to that rule with all of them as it’s movement specific and easy to do. Just change the time a bit first.
Also if the crystal on top is scratched up, google polywatch and you can find vids on YouTube of how to use it. It’s cheap and easy and makes the crystal look brand new.

Absolutely! I love these vintage omegas regardless of origin, but seeing as it’s from your grandfather then it has a great connection too. The all gold aesthetic is fun to play with too.
Not sure how much you know about vintage manual/automatic watches as I haven’t read most of this thread but if you need any tips let me know, have had a few of these older omegas over the years.

extremely bad razor burn, how to avoid it?
Used to happen to me frequently and would nick myself occasionally too. A decent electric shaver works much much better for me, doesn’t need shaving cream etc. Have never looked back.

I bought a jean version of the ring jacket earlier this year, but similar to the robot I find it too fiddly and rarely reach for it. Thought I would love all the possibilities but always feel like I am adjusting something or it's not draped or folded how I would like. Probably equally as much a - me having a hard time embracing chaos/drape/big - thing vs a reality of the actual coat.

Not sure if you have any other Orslow fatigues, assuming not, but they are some of the best wearing/aging pants I have. Comfy+durable+fade subtly and nicely with washes over the years.
I've bought a couple pairs over the years of various color ways and jeans.
I'm not using them for anything hardcore but have hiked etc in them and they're solid for those kinds of activities.

Selvedge with polyurethane?
I've had a few pairs of Katos over the years and enjoyed them. The breathabilty is pretty much the same as other jeans as the elastane is such a small percent. It's there to make them stretch which is kinda their thing. Definitely makes them more comfortable if you're going for a less wide fit of jean.
