Coming from the raw Japanese denim space, it’s nice to have a brand that has one foot in the niche, and one foot in the more fashion forward. I find that the items I own from them always go so well together aesthetically.
Feel like in the recent years they've really evolved the tops. Been liking the shirts and jackets
I agree — the denim never really stood out to me but I love what they’ve been doing with the rest of their stuff.
Has anyone tried the new 3Sixteen heavyweight T-shirt’s? Not sure how much has changed.
From the site: “These tees are now constructed using mill-laundered jersey and shrinkage is minimal. Please check the updated measurement chart to determine your sizing.”

Also interested in the V2 tees. I have a few of the V1s that all shrunk on me and are either unwearable or tighter than I’d like
Im also the proud owner of a shrunken tee 😔
I have no experience with their new tees but I will say that their pima cotton tees are some of my favorite
Can confirm the Pima Tees are great. No/Minimal shrink and super high quality
Same
The fit is really good and the fabric is really nice
Thin and crisp

Those fatigues are sick
And that quilted liner
And the chore coat
yeah i like this. i wonder if the cut on the fatigues has been updated, the rise has just been too low for me in the past
We adjusted the shaping of the seat - so measurements are pretty similar but they sit a little more relaxed in the seat area. Might make a difference 🤞
Need to see more of that tie dye shirt asap @andrew3sixteen
My wife is pretty much insisting I get the patchwork fatigues. Personally I’m torn between that and the camo.
Your wife rules
Anyone have experience with their long-sleeved tees? Bought one a few months ago in the same size as short-sleeved ones and the sleeves are tight despite me having smallish arms
And everything else fits as intended?
That’s weird man.
Yeah, only the sleeves are tight. Usually it’s the sleeves of a shirt that are baggy on me. Only 1 wash, cold
Anyone else pick up their new crosscut flannel and camp shirt? Imo, they’re amazing.
They look solid but I’m waiting for that tie dye shirt this season lol
Appreciate the support! Post a fit up sometime.
Will do! Really like the slub effect coming from the uneven vertical threads. Definitely a standout design wise from prior crosscuts. Also soft enough to sleep in haha
Definitely - feels like you’re wearing a blanket!
Anyone have the fishtail parka? Looks cool, but measurements are large. Wondering how I should size
Anyone else get the Blackstock & Weber collab loafers? 😎
The next drop this thursday is gunna be a good one
The Big Oxford is very nice
the white jacquard jacket and easy pants look intriguing, nice zen garden inspo on their IG page. Thoughts on the Tie Dye shirt? seems the most far out
It’s pretty far out, the way I envision wearing it is layered under a shop jacket or cardigan to chill it out. Was planning on copping it so I’ll post a fit this week.
The homie Mark in our tie dye open collar shirt
Ive heard rumors of a 3sixteen wide straight cut
Hope it drops in this denim
This is coming in CT only, MFAD heard it first
But here’s a quick look at the new cut - RS aka Relaxed Straight. Should be releasing middle of this month.
Hubba hubba
Damn its looking clean
What’s the front rise like on these
Will post measurements when it launches
Sick
fuck yeah baggy 3s
looking to add a grey crew neck to my wardrobe and saw 3sixteen’s was on sale. can anyone recommend? i’m curious on the fit but can’t find any model pictures. i am typically somewhere between a large and x large (broad shoulders but shorter torso) and i prefer a tighter neckcollar
also not sure how i feel about the pockets, but if they blend in well and lay flat when wearing, i’d be cool with them
There's measurements on the site. No experience with it myself but seems legitimately heavyweight at 500gsm which is cool
but i probably wouldn't spend $100 on a shirt if i didnt like the pockets
I have four of these so highly recommend. They definitely fit snug, so I’d size up. I’m normally an XL and while I fit in the Larges, I breathe better in my XL. Also I love the pockets but, in my opinion, they really ruined all other sweatshirts for me because I now assume all sweatshirts need pockets and those without are lacking.
Big fan. Have one crew and one hoodie. Super cozy and thick. Definitely fit small, wish I sized up so I’m selling both off and will like repurchase in the future

3sixteen Stadium Jacket Waxed Canvas Tan
The Stadium Jacket has been an outerwear staple that 3sixteen has been making since 2008. Few wardrobe icons give off an aura of success quite like this jacket. It's a slim cut baseball jacket made of heavy 8oz. Field Tan waxed canvas that repels wind and rain. This waxed canvas has been a mainstay in 3sixteen collections for years; It's an 8oz ...
That’s a classic. We’ve been making that jacket since 2008 - put it on pause for two seasons but we have a fantastic CWU-45P inspired bomber coming out soon.
Those new field shirts look niceee 👌
They look amazing (although I don't love the elbow patches). The price... not so much.
Does it feel high? Maybe I’m desensitized at this point but close to 200 for an overshirt feels on par with a lot of brands in this channel.
I haven't handled it in person yet but $300 Canadian feels high for a made in India shirt to me. But it may very well be worth it, I know that making shit is expensive.
EDIT: to be clear i have lots of dope shit made in india. was not making any sort of statement about that in any way and apologize if that's how it came off
Made in India is usually expensive right? The abercrombie shirt I have is Made in India but usually the garments that come out of India are so hands-on that I feel like its a good deal given the time put into it.
ya i might be tripping here, india is definitely known for their textiles and craftsmanship. i think i might just be cheap lol. i still might grab one though, they look incredible.
I think its a pretty fair price tbh
seems to be the ballpark price for mid sized brands like 3S
3sixteens textile game is also elite
I will say I’m worried that it looks like it’s meant to fit slim in all the photos I’ve seen so far. I love the fabric and the patches but I’m all in on relaxed fits right now.
Aren’t all their shirts kinda trim? I’ve had to size up in anything I’ve tried.
I recently picked up their white chore coat, made in india, and it seems very solid for the price (so far)
This one sewed down a little slim - overall our silhouettes are relaxing a bit but I would recommend sizing up on this particular piece.
Hah! I managed to try it on today and since I’m usually small/medium it actually worked.
Does that CWU jacket release today with the final drop?
No, CWU is coming in 1-2 weeks! Was a little late coming off the line but it looks great.
I am patiently waiting!
I’ve wanted a vintage one cause Billy Crystal wears it at the end of When Harry Met Sally
Today's drop looks awesome. I've been fidgetly waiting on the camo fatigues since the lookbook dropped, but the liner jackets and service pants caught my eye too. Going to stop by the shop this afternoon
I love my 3sixteen liner
Just landed at the warehouse, rolling out soon!
Ok MFA heard it first, CWU bombers drop next Monday 11/13
I saw that the Relaxed straight gets released tomorrow. I’m excited! I don’t need new jeans and they might be a touch wide for me but maybe I’ll think differently after I wear my CS more. I welcome more cuts though
very cool overshirt at my local shop
Moonrock Slub Field Shirt! Are you at Fera?
Yessir
Also really dug the frog camo jacket and the liner jacket
I will probably go back for the field shirt.
i got that field shirt in the midnight color with the recent release and love it
nice heavy fabric
Love to hear that. Post a fit pic!
Picked up the frog camo fatigues at guilty party in ATL today. Those guys are the shizz and so are these pants!
Guilty Party dudes are rad, we are glad to be working with them!

I so wish mauve flannel was available in L
this flannel looks so nice imo, 100% going to be my next piece
I have this flannel from a few seasons ago and I wear it every week religiously
Yahh I love that green pattern
I do wish their flannels, and tops in general, were a little more relaxed in silouhette since I personally think of a flannel as a more slouchy piece
They’ve relaxed their flannels a little bit in the past decade but they still fit towards a 2010s Americana slim or like a Japanese brand.
I appreciate that they keep their color schemes sort of monochrome and centered around highlighting a single color.
Gives things a very clean look
Good news. This spring we are releasing a new flannel silhouette - the Utility Flannel - that is wider and more cropped. The Crosscut has gotten a little roomier in the past two seasons but we didn’t want to make major changes to the fit as many people have grown accustomed to it over the years.

3sixteen Crosscut Flannel Mauve Slub Check
This piece is one of the best flannels that 3sixteen has produced, particularly notable for the flannel fabric that has been custom-woven exclusively for the brand. The fabric was designed from scratch and utilises heavy slub yarns, resulting in remarkable texture while still maintaining a lighter, breathable feel for the warmer months. The chec...

cool to see different silhouettes from them
Its a cool cut. Hope they release it down the line without the throwing fits link lol
there's always the mfpen big jeans
Thank you @ChristophHartmann - we need more action in here
Ask me anything you want about them - I’m very proud of how they came out
Are these the biggest jeans or will you go bigger?
They're really cool! Personally thinking the relaxed straight jeans make the most sense for me tho out of your models. Do you know when you'll restock them if you don't mind me asking?
I think between this and the RS that’s about where we’ll end up. It’s important for us to make cuts that we feel will hold relevance for a long time. We could certainly go wider and people would buy them, but I don’t want any cut that we make to look like a parody of what’s going on eventually.
We have a small RS restock coming in about a week or two - a big shipment of denim just landed from Japan so if you miss out on the small restock, a larger one will be hitting in 1.5 months
Y'all ever planning to reuse this cut in more fabrics? Really like the shape just not really digging the faded black right now
Sorry for negativity tho. Hope y'all had an amazing launch party ❤️
You guys are just getting better and better with every release imo
2024 is y'alls year for sure
So excited for boot restock
Sounds very reasonable
Thank you! I have my eye on them for my first pair of raw selvedge denim (combo of relaxed cut plus high rise feels perfect to me for raw selvedge).
In terms of the flannels, is 3sixteen going to do the more relaxed cropped cut of the utility flannels for the next fw crosscut flannels too?
Do you know if any UK stockists will be getting them? 🙏
And whilst I'm here....what's the difference between the SL fit (which I currently have and love) and the CS? Is the CS just slightly straighter?
Any restocks in the CS cut coming? Noticed most models are stocked out online
We’ll see! The plan is to keep the cut for TF projects since they came up with the idea and we want to respect that.
We’ll keep both in rotation. We have a lot of customers who have grown very fond of the crosscut fit so that will always be around but generally am any of our tops are ranging towards slightly wider and more cropped
Yes, Rivet & Hide will have the April restock!
CS and SL are quite different. The CS has a higher rise and roomier top block. The SL is lower rise and slimmer through the top block. Overall the CS is a much more relaxed fit with more range of motion on day one
Working on it 😅
Thank you!! The crosscut fit doesn't fit slim on me so either fit works, was just curious
thanks for the info re: differences, yes looking at the sizing charts this makes sense!
And great news about Rivet and Hide getting the restock - will look forward to that 😊
the Big Jeans sold out in 3 minutes, LOL! good to see business is doing well I guess

Looks like they’re doing a pre order for the throwing fits jeans
This is part humble brag and part asking @andrew3sixteen if there are any plans to bring back the Pendleton wool crosscuts?
This flannel is why I made an Instagram account in 2015, to follow the release of these bad boys.
Unreal, that is a good one! No plans unfortunately - those were always special projects that we worked on with Tanner Goods’ retail shop The Woodlands. The reason these shirts were not $500 was because they would go to the Pendleton outlet and buy remnant rolls at super low prices and ship them to us to make three or four shirts at a time. If we had Pendleton make wool for us from scratch they would be wildly expensive.
Oh well that’s really cool and glad I snagged one when I did.
It is 3Sixteen day.
anyone looking for anything cool?
the kung fu jacket calls to me. but it’s pretty new i think and i’m not expecting it to be part of the sale
i'm keeping an eye out for the shaggy emerald flannel
Happy 3sixteen day to all who celebrate
Thanks for everything you and your team does. I know today about to be crazy for y'all
They ask us what we do and who we do it for
@andrew3sixteen any eta on that purple vacation shirt? Been trying to get a closer look at it
Got any pics for your boys that might not have seen it and are very interested?
The one with the hand sewn details? This one is running late sadly, looking like May. But that’ll be the perfect time to be wearing it IMO.
Got you
I’m guessing some of y’all caught the new podcast we posted on SS24? Thanks for listening!
I have been loving the podcast. Really neat to hear from the team and learn about you all. Latest one was my favorite hearing about how the collections are put together and thought put into the pieces. Great to hear you and Wesley riff.
Didn't expect activewear
I have trail shorts from them, are the ones from this drop a new material?

I like it but I don’t love it. It’s not really my style tho
These are fuckin great
how limited are these gonna be? I would really like to grab a pair
I'm waiting to see the price before I decide if I want to try and get a pair. Regular croc dylan clogs are less than $50. These will obviously be more than that but I'm curious how much more - from what I can tell these are made of the same material as regular crocs.
On IG they said it would be, “about what most crocs cost”, in which case I hope they made a lot because they will sell very quickly
3sixteen X crocs was not on the 2014 bingo card :xd:
Def not haha. This project came about thru friendship which is how all good ones should, and I think the shoe fits really nicely into what 2024 3sixteen is doing
Will you have a lot of supply of these?
Something tells me it will sell out quickly
Anybody have Dylan sizing advice?
Before the drop
In for a pair, went 1 size down
Damn - that was fast
Are they gone?
Yup - looks like size 4 left...
1 size down is good, i have a regular pair and did that
Cool that’s what I did
this dumb but i thought this was a bra brand bc in korea theres a bra brand w a very similar font to the name w 6 in the name
A few things
1) If you haven't listened to the 3Sixteen podcast Singularities it's great. Very honest and considered on the topics they choose. Loved the latest Father's Day episode even though I am not a father.
2) The Olive Twill Cargos are easily my favorite 3Sixteen pants. So comfy and awesome fit. The material and color is :chefskiss: . Would love more pairs in other colorways (light khaki maybe?). Hope these are a new constant in the lineup.
3) I have been waiting years to try to snag one of the tan wool mechanic's jackets in my size on the secondhand and it finally happened. Stoked on it.
Just overall fanboying a bit, but love the folks behind the brand and also the clothes they make.
Thanks so much for the kind words. Good news for you - the cargos return this fall in a coyote twill (exact same fabric as SS24).
are there any plans to bring back the lug sole derby shoe?
Yup, restocking this fall!
Croc’d out all day yesterday, I love em
They sold out so fast
I wish more stockists would carry the RS cut, currently can't find any places nearby (I'm in the midwest). I'm going to be in Denver for a few days but looks like those stockists don't carry the RS, and neither does anyone in KC.
Actually, you’re in luck- Guevel in KC stocks RS in both colors!

This season looks very good
Love those vintage wash RS jeans
I know it’s not crazy different or exciting, but that chambray work shirt looks absolutely perfect.
Does anyone have any sizing advice on 3sixteen jeans? Generally I wear a 33-34” waist in Levi’s and wranglers but I see measurements on at least the RS show that the tag size is generally 1” smaller (so a 33” is a true 34”). Because their stuff supposedly stretches an inch, I was thinking a 33” tagged would stretch to eventually be 35”. Does anyone else have any advice on what size they’ve went with? If this is better suited for #questions-and-advice my apologies
I would ignore the tagged size and follow the 3sixteen garment measurements. The garment measurements for waist are usually 1-2” bigger than tag size. But the actually waist dimensions can differ a bit depending on the specific cut, like CT vs ST for example.
So just measure the dimensions of your current best fitting pair of jeans, then compare against the 3sixteen size charts. Good luck!
Thanks! And should I expect an inch of stretch beyond that? I’ve also had some “issues” with washed jeans stretching more than raw denim. Not sure if that would be a concern here
I’m not sure actually, amount of stretch might depend on the specific denim.
I’d say generally sizing down with the hope jeans will stretch is a bit of an outdated strategy and it’s better to size for something that fits. Better to need a belt than for something to be too small.
Jeans will stretch over time but assuming you’re washing them (please wash them) they will often also shrink back a bit too.
I’m a frequent washer don’t worry lol
I only have cheaper raws right now but when I had pricier stuff I still was doing once a month at the very worst
But I’d be getting the vintage wash RS so I don’t really see any reason to baby it
I’ve been wearing a pair of 3Sixteen+ 11BSP that haven’t gotten a ton of wear over the past 9? Years. I’m going to try to wear them a lot more this fall and winter. Definitely the heaviest jeans I own. I like the cut but could use a little longer rise.
man the rise on some of those old cuts was brutal
@andrew3sixteen will 3sixteen do the RS model in the stonewashed indigo out of curiosity?
They should be doing a vintage wash this Fall

I'm def getting a pair this time I overslept
How similar is the "Wool/Cashmere Mac Coat" in the lookbook to the recent Schott Officer Coats? (I'm still kicking myself for missing the 20y coats last year 😭 )
Pretty different - the cut is more relaxed and flowy and the wool, while quite substantial, is not as heavy from a sheer weight. It’s a really beautiful wool cashmere blend and feels a lot more luxe. I would confidently say it’s warm enough for a NY winter. Really beautiful piece.

The new wool jackets look pretty cool.
@andrew3sixteen Will there be a restock on the SL-100x? Been OOS in basically every size for a minute now
We run em once a year or so. Most of the demand for SL has moved to CT, it’s more comfortable with the higher rise. If you haven’t tried it yet you should!
@andrew3sixteen Are you guys ever going to work with your 14oz stonewashed indigo fabric again? I’d love to pickup a pair of the CS100xs to go along my lighter weight pair if you ever offer it
The great thing about the easy pant is you can size up to make them baggier
Because they’re drawstring? Did you go up 1 or 2?
Yes! I went up one
anyone knows when the Type 3s Denim Jacket - Double Black will be restocked?
Got good news for you. In two weeks we are releasing the vintage wash in 100x fabric. CS and RS!
Waiting on more double black denim from Japan 😩
I size up one too! These look great on you homie.
That include the RS-100xv? Looked great in the Lookbook
Yes, looking like next Thursday!
Andrew any idea when the boot restock is happening :lookhaw:
ive been looking at them too. although the odds of getting 'em are slim in canada esp since i cant try on first.
check ur email bub
looks like Thursday is the day
these look great
General word is half-size down from sneaker for the side zips right? So my sneakers are usually 9.5, so I'd go 9 even tho my boot size is usually 8.5? I wish these were restocking in Jan when I'm in LA for a few days lol
If it helps my brannock is 10.5 my red wing boot size is 9.5
And i wear a size 10 in the side zip boots
Ok that checks out! My red wings are 8.5 and my sneakers are 9.5. Your TikToks are what piqued my interest in them.
those boots flew crazy fast. glad i was able to try on in person but unfortunately the sizing just didn’t work out for me. i couldn’t even get the 8.5 on my feet, and had way too much room in the 9 (my normal sneaker size is 9).
might have been able to make the 9 work with an insole, but they were out of black by the time i got there, and $600 is a lot to pay if it’s not gonna be a perfect fit
yeah I'm almost glad I missed it, with duties they'd be like $1k by the time they got here so I'd probably need to know sizing worked. They look sick though. Did you manage to snag a pair @SteezeTrain? You were after them right?
I waaaas. Had some expensive emergencies pop up this week
Dang (heh), hope you’re all good.
That's awful to hear, I hope it all ended up alright
Which denim model is most akin to 501s?
Probably the CS cut imo
I have 2 pairs and they are pretty similar to my older Levis
Do 3sixteen pairs need time to break in? Need to replace a lighter wash pair of Levi’s that had a blowout. Always wanted to get a pair from 3sixteen, but this one’s gonna be pretty utilitarian, and I’m gonna bike around a lot in them.
If you're buying a raw pair they'll definiltely benefit from some breaking in yeah.
If raw, yes they're very stiff at first. If you're biking in them, they'll break in quickly.
Does anyone with the suede side zips have any experience with how they handle water? I don’t really want to baby them, but I live in MN where there’s salt and snow around for large portions of the year. I’m not looking for something indestructible or anything - just some suedes I’ve used in the past handle these conditions better than others and I don’t want to actively be scared to “ruin them”
Hopefully some other people with more experience can jump in but usually suede does not handle water well. You can spray them with a waterproofing treatment though.
Saphir's waterproofing spray works great
Anyone know if when buying from Canada, taxes are included in the final price? I see their terms say that duties are not included but I’m not sure about taxes. Thanks!
They won't be included.
3sixteen is not responsible for customs fees incurred from imported goods. Most places just say 'customs fees' to include both.
Got it, thanks!
Disagree, good suede handles water fine. Seinfeld single handedly ruined the suede industry. Reminder that all leather is tanned in liquids to begin with
Some suede may spot but it's usually temporary
Suede that's dyed like shit...whole other story
Black Denim Q: 220x vs 220xk (kibata) – What are the primary differences? Texture? Fading? Vibe? Wat do?
I believe the fabric is completely different, I’ve not had the 220xk but if it’s similar to the 120xk it’s lighter weight and much softer/ less dense than the normal
220x is very stiff and uniform feeling
