Anyone know what colour these are trousers really are?
I'm looking at buying these trousers but the pictures fluctuate between two different colours, one is a warmer orange-y brown and the other is a more green-y brown (you can see this in the larger photo vs the detail photo).
Anyone that's familiar with RAF / army surplus stuff know which one they look like more irl?

What's the difference in fit between women's vs men's trousers?
I keep finding trousers I like on websites but they are in the women's section - I've broadly avoided buying them because I assume there is a significant difference in the way that they are constructed/tailored but is that true?

are these french chore jackets legit?
I’m looking to get a French chore jacket but can’t afford the prices from one of the major french makers right now, decided to search on ebay which is full of these very affordable ones listed as vintage deadstock.
Is this legit or just someone selling cheap chinese dupes and listing them as vintage?
honestly don’t mind that, just wondering about quality.

what’s wrong with my new suit?
I just bought a new suit and the fit just doesn’t look right to me but I don’t have the language to express what the difference is.
for context these photos were taken 2 years apart and my body has not changed at all (same weight and general clothing fits me the same)
fyi: old suit is the one with the bow tie

the little lip on loafers? what’s that all about?
Is there a name for the lip on the top of some loafers / do some styles of loafers have them and others don’t or is it literally just case by case - I’m looking for some dressier black loafers (under £200) and like the look of the lip vs loafers where there is no lip (pictures of the difference between the thing I am referring to, the first one having no lip and then second one having a prominent lip)

Heading to Toronto (from the UK) - any shops I should hit up?
I'm thinking that the Canadians might do better clothes for cold weather, many years ago I got a jacket from Canadian The Gap that looked thin but was deceptively warm. But even if you have non-warm recs, I'd love to hear!

What would you include in the Socks Starter Pack?
Basically, I have been wearing random cheap quarter length multicoloured bright socks for the last 6 years and now I want to actually buy quality socks that would be versatile and fit with outfits. Do I just get a pack of black and white socks as a base or are there other colours that I should consider too?
Also - recommendations for good sock brands would be appreciated

Smallish versatile backpack suggestions for a daily carry?
I'm looking for a small (but not tiny) backpack that would look nice with a lot of outfits as a daily carry (laptop, water bottle, notebook and a pen with some room some bits and bobs).
I really like the idea of having the backpack complement the outfit as I spend a lot of time commuting to and from my nearest city and end up having to walk into parties/meetings/social settings with my backpack & want to retire my ragged looking free backpack I got at a conference fair.
What do y'all use as your backpack / do you have any recommendations?

I don't understand S/M/L/XL trouser sizing
I've been trying to figure out trouser sizing, I have my measurements (31 Inch Waist, 30 Inside Leg/Inseam). I'm trying to buy some new trousers and have no idea what size I should buy - all my current trousers use Waist / Inseam format.
I think my confusion comes from the fact that I usually wear a large in my shirts and t-shirts but websites seem to sort me into Small or sometimes Medium for trousers. Is it normal to be very different sizes for tops and bottoms?

Looking for an alternative to Uniqlo Airism Oversized Tee
I recently picked up the Uniqlo Airism Oversized Tee & loved the way it fit - however, it’s high polyester content means it feels quite plastic-y, doesn’t keep me cool, doesn’t wick sweat well & gets that polyester-sweat smell very quickly.
I’m looking for recommendations for a similar (or same) style / fit tee but made of better materials. Preferably 100% cotton.
Any ideas?
