VCore 3.1 500 skipping
I upgraded my Vcore 3.0 500 to 3.1. I also installed the FMMM mod as well as motor decouplers for the x and y motors and also a cnc machined x beam. I am using the TMC2226 stepper drivers with 1.5A of drive current each on 24V supply, they are actively cooled.
When trying to print above 70mm/s speed (for perimeters as well as infill) I got the issue that stepper motors loose steps and therefore the printhead gets shifted in the right back corner from where it should be.
Does anyone of you have a solution or idea on how to fix this issue?
Greetings,
Vince

Lost communication with MCU 'toolboard' mit print
Hello,
Since yesterday I am getting two different errors that are preventing me from printing anything.
At first, I randomly got the error "tmc 'extruder' reports error gstat 0000001" during prints, which after having a look at some forums, seems to be related to bad wiring between the extruder and driver. I double checked all the connections and couldn't find any issue with the wiring. I then updated all components via the machine tab. Now I am getting the error "lost communication with mcu 'toolboard' " randomly during a print. However homing works just fine.
I am using a Raspbi3B+ with Octopus and EBB BTT36 V1.2. The BTT36 is connected over a USBC PowerLine Cable from Anker. Power is routed separately with 1mm² twisted cables.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Greetings from Germany,
Vincent

x Axis starts wrong point
Hi!
After upgrading to RatOs 2 my print now starts at the wrong x Position. It should start with a primeline on front left but starts on front right position.
I assume x min and x max position are mixed?
Everything else works, for example the mesh bed testing and z tilt as well as x homing start at front left position.
Could someone please give me a quick fix for it for printer.cfg?
Greetings,
Vince

EBB36 "MCU 'toolboard' shutdown: Thermocouple reader fault"
I just installed my EBB36 and always get the error "MCU 'toolboard' shutdown: Thermocouple reader fault". I therefore think something in my printer.cfg regarding the MAX31865 is wrong. However I have the same prnter.cfg like @micha.mue suggsted in ratosdevelopement.
This is in my user overrides in printer.cfg:
[extruder]
heater_pin: toolboard: e_heater_pin
sensor_type: MAX31865
sensor_pin: toolboard: PF8 #e_sensor_pin
spi_bus: spi1
rtd_nominal_r:100
rtd_num_of_wires: 2
rtd_reference_r: 430
rtd_use_50Hz_filter: True
I am using a 2wire PT100 on EBB36 with suggested dipswitch order.
Does someone has any clue what could be the reason behind?

Rescue print after Power outage
Hey, so around 40h into a 60h print job we had a power outage. I plan to resume printing but am unsure if my planned way is the best possible and would like to here a second or third opinion.
I plan to do it the following way:
1. Restore power
2. Heat nozzle and bed
3. Determine how much was printed by finding significant points of the object and counting the layers from there. Than having a look into the gcode opened with a slicer to see at which layer it stopped.
4. Home x y z by placing a thin sheet metal of .2mm onto the printed part and letting the BLTouch probe against it while z homing.
5. Opening the existing gcode with text editor and removing all the parts that were already printed as well as the bed mesh probing gcode G29.
6. Starting the modified gcode and again homing onto the existing print with +0.2mm offset because of the sheet metal.
Then subtracting these .2mm in liveZ adjust in mainsail.
Did I miss something or is there a better way to do it? How can I make sure there will be no Z Tilt routine performed?
Greetings,
Vince

Rescue timelapse after Power failure
Hi, I didn't know where to post this so please feel free to move this thread if it belongs somewhere else.
I just did a 60+ hour print and there was a power out in our building at around 40h into the print. I will be able to recover the print but also want to safe the time-lapse pictures I did with the moonraker time-lapse plugin.
The problem is I selected autorender before starting the print. As it didn't finish there is no completed print and hence no autorendered time-lapse file.
However the plugin has to safe the individual pictures somewhere. Does someone know where so I can recover them before fixing the print/starting the printer and creating a new time-lapse?
Greetings,
Vince
