Not able to connect to VCore3.1

Hi, Today I ran into some weird issues with the connection to my Vcore3.1. Within the last days there were multiple problems connecting to it but it worked after unplugging and plugging the printer in again every time. But now I just can't connect to it. After looking into my Router to make sure the IP is right I tried connecting to it and something does happen, but it always stays in the "initializing" part, even after unplugging and plugging it in again. It stays there forever (I waited 20min and it was still there and didn't move any further). The printer/RaspBi 3B+ is connected via LAN and it did work flawless for the last months. Also everything besides RatOs was up to date. Does anyone have any suggestions what the cause could be and/or how to fix it? I am loosing my mind right now because I can't find the cause of the problem... Also see pictures for reference. Greetings, Vincent

If you open developer tools in your web browser, are there any errors showing up?

Thanks for the quick answer. I don't know what kind of witchcraft is going on here but just when I wanted to have a look at the devtools ans reloaded the IP, it worked. I now updated all components again and even after shutting the printer off and turning it on again multiple times it still works. However I got an issue with RatOs saying 'invalid' and I am not able to update/recover it.

sounds like you might be having network issues. Are you using wifi or ethernet to connect your pi to your router?

looks like somehow your SD didn't store it properly. I would make sure you use a good brand SD card (like a samsung EVO) and make sure you aren't just shutting the machine off, but using the web interface to shut it down, then wait 10 seconds, then cut the power to everything I would also back up anything you care about now since your SD card may not have much life left

Hi! It is a SanDisk Extreme Pro , so should be on the good end. I will back up everything now. Is there the possibility to get everything as one .zip or do I have to save every single file separately? How can I get RatOS from invalid to valid now? Or do you think it isn't possible because of the microSD? Furthermore, when installing a new microSD do I have to run through the entire configuration like I did when first installing the printer?

to recover you need to replace your git repository with a good version https://stackoverflow.com/a/13918515 so something like: git clone https://github.com/Rat-OS/RatOS-configuration.git ~/ then rm -rf /home/pi/klipper_config/config/.git then cp -r ~/RatOS-configuration/.git /home/pi/klipper_config/config/ depending on your skills, this may or may not be easier than re-installing ratos

I bought an SD card duplicator from Amazon for $120. It's a stand alone unit that will do bit for bit copies of any SD regardless of file format or OS. I don't know linux and never owned a PI until I build the vcore3, so this was my solution to backing up. Now if the SD card dies, I have a replacement sitting in the wings with next to zero effort to get back up and running.
