Are these belt artifacts?
I feel silly just discovering this now ha. I think my VC3 printed this PLA more matte so the issues may have been less visible. Thank you for the help! I will get a test print going shortly but i have a feeling this is the ticket.

Are these belt artifacts?
A bit annoying as it adds and extra step to the process but If it prints better I will take it!

The fact that they become less noticeable along the sides where the speed is higher on the prusaslicer display has me thinking it is mechanical but you may be right. I'll attach a video here in a second. I am sending the model right to prusaslicer from Fusion360

Yes I am, printing the same STL file on my VC3 though I have zero issues with this wave

There is even a smoother section along the sides where the speed increases. see the yellow sections on left and right vs green on front and back

On the second photo the right most print is from my VC3 and the other two are VC4.

Clicking during Y axis movement
I loosened off the Y on that side belt and turned the idlers on their own and it is certainly not the idlers so it is either the stepper or the bearing in the adapter plate? I guess replacing the bearing is the simplest option even though that's a decent amount of taking apart.

RatOS UpdateManager Invalid
I don't want to try hard recovery as I imagine that will get rid of all of my configs? Although I am about to upgrade to IDEX so maybe that does not matter?

RatOS Heat Soak Macro Help
Hm I have seen the addition of time variables to the beacon macros but I'm not looking quite for that as I don't want to add time to the beginning of every print. Just hoping for a "heat up" macro to run at the start of the day to get things going as once it is hot there is no need to wait between prints as long as it does not cool off.

RatOS Heat Soak Macro Help
I guess I should also have a macro sets the temps back to 0 as well.

Nozzle is rattling against the print, making scrathing noise and producing top layer artifacts.
How does the first layer look? Feels like over extrusion could be to blame.

Printer will not connect to WIFI all of sudden, creates RatOS hotspot instead
I have had the same issue with my pi. Unfortunately no solution I've just tried to avoid rebooting it so it stays connected to wifi. Someone said it is a known issue with Klipperscreen but I don't have a screen attached. Just adding my comment to hopefully bring more attention to the issue.

Inconsistent first layer between prints with Beacon
I realize that is not practical so what would be a practical solution? a "warm up" Macro for the start of the day to get things going?
