this. i blew my clothing budget this japan trip and i’ve never regretted buying alot on trips. it’s so fun to have an irl shopping experience in such concentrated areas. plus having the memory of picking something up and putting that shit on in another place is one of life’s greatest feelings

hate to bear some harsh truth, but you can assimilate with the in crowd as much as you want (dressing minimally, not loudly as you say), but you’re still going to be othered when you’re not in the room.
