Distant Horizons keeps running out of memory

The thing is, it's only happening for two people on our Forge server. We are playing on the 2.1.2-a build so that we can run shaders along with it. Anyone have a fix for these people so they aren't left out?

LoDs don't show on server despite being loaded.

Hi! Im on a multiplayer server (i run it on a seperate computer) and I've traveled to chunks outside of my render distance. So i should have LoDs for those traveled to chunks right? When i was running the server as single player it worked as it should. I have since traveled to the same chunks since making it a server....

what am I doing wrong?

My friends play on a server with low render distance for anti lag reasons and it’s a 1.21.1 server. I am also on 1.21.1 but it is somehow incompatible. I use prism launcher

Black Chunks only in certain areas and less so at night. (sp, large mod pack)

This happens with multiple shaders, interestingly only in certain locations (seemingly where I start a LOD load). In addition have had ram problems such as not enough ram errors. Less of an issue. But i have been banging my head against the wall for a few weeks now trying to figure this out. reasonable render distance, decent specs. likely cpu is crying however. Its not a huge issue and playable but it just gets on my nerves abit. any suggestions? Will add a mod list on request....

I recently upgraded ram and now distant horizons does this with Bliss Shaders

I upgraded my ram and had some system instability. Some config files might have gotten corrupted so I deleted them and regenerated them. Everything works fine now but I have this visual bug and have no idea why. All settings are identical to before the upgrade took place. I restarted multiple times.

multiplayer compatability

In the FAQ it says that for multiplayer you have to go and visit the chunks manually to load them in DH. I want to play DH client side with aternos, is there any way to generate the LODs without visiting the actual location (and have DH rendering without visiting every chunk)?

I’m super new to Minecraft modding and honestly Minecraft in general. I’m playing on a modded server with some friends, but I’m having an issue where something will be loaded in the distance but as I approach it the blocks will disappear. They’re still there like I can interact with them and break them but they’re completely transparent. It seems to only happen to blocks above a certain height, but also not every block that is at or above the hat height is affected. I’ve included a video because...

How do I disable the chat message? I heard it might be Chunky, but it still appears even if I'm not using it.

slow real chunks rendering

this probably is pretty common, but i couldnt find a fix, im playing on 1.20.1 on forge and the lod generation is pretty decent, but when i get to chunks I wasnt before it takes too long to render, a problem I wasnt having in fabric on the same version

Not sure if this is a known glitch for DH or not?

Running the nightly build with Craftoria on a server. Can't figure out if this an already know DH glitch, or something Craftoria and or new in terms of incompatibility. Figured I would ask before tearing up my server files again, thank you!

Chunks Ive loaded in my world arnt showing as LOD's and leaving huge gaps between flight paths

im preparing an instance to share with a community for a smp im setting up, and im pre rendering all my chunks and LODs for the instance im going to upload for communal download, but for some reason even tho i have all these chunks loaded (as seen in the first picture) theres these huge gaps in the world between flight paths even tho ive loaded them, why is this? i hope i mede my prediciment clear. any help would be amazing.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I am on a server and everytime I join, it looks like this. At first, it was okay but it suddenly became grey. I am using the nightly version.

Weird chunk loading/lighting

Does anybody have an idea as to what the issue may be here? When I loaded this world I was using a different mod pack with the same version of Distant Horizons. Now using a new pack with the same Distant Horizons version and this is how the chunks look...I had Supplementaries installed and thought that was causing the issue so I removed it and still having this issue. Any/All help is greatly appreciated! - Multiplayer...

Stuttering to Crashing

I loaded in with 16 gigs of ram on my install and got some pretty unplayable mouse stuttering and freezing whenever I would load chunks. I backed out and tried deleting my config file. Loaded back in and now crashed on world creation or loading. Help?

Errors in currently selected datapacks prevented the world from loading.

All of a sudden i get this error message and it says my world is corrupted when i go to safe mode however this pops up for every world i have. Here are the logs.

DH 2.2.1 causes crash when I boot up Minecraft

When I installed DH 2.2.1 it started crashing the game whenever I tried to play.

Weird water boders (Without shaders)

Hello, i am experiencing weird visual problems, i doesn't looks like a glitch, more like the mod is not blending the vanilla terrain with the LOD version. I play with 8 vanilla chunks (my pc cant handle more than that) The mod works great, but the moment I go to an ocean, it does not blend, which is visually annoying, and i don't want to use shaders, i do not play with shaders, i like the vanilla shading....
