Weird chunk loading/lighting
Does anybody have an idea as to what the issue may be here? When I loaded this world I was using a different mod pack with the same version of Distant Horizons. Now using a new pack with the same Distant Horizons version and this is how the chunks look...I had Supplementaries installed and thought that was causing the issue so I removed it and still having this issue.
Any/All help is greatly appreciated!

I am going to try deleting my Server LODS in .minecraft and see if that helps

You can remove fog in the config at: Advanced > Graphics > Fog > "Disable vanilla fog" or with mods like Sodium Extras, Optifine, or some other fog removal mod.
If the fog is still there and you have BCLib installed you’ll have to disable BCLib’s fog.
I don't see why it does not work
Maybe try updating Iris to 1.7.3?
do you have a compatible shader?
I would switch between Complimentary and Bliss
you have the latest complementary?
this is is without shaders on
looks pretty normal
the fuzzy LODs are normal when you just turned off shaders
Ah okay, I'm not completely clear about how LODS work but if I loaded the work with a mod that was incompatible would it keep the glitches in the LODS until I removed the mod and deleted the server data?
a removed mod shouldnt be causing what you're seeing in the first screenshot
it looks like you dont have shader support
like you dont meet all these requirements
but i dont see the issue
Like I have all of those and that's why you dont see it?
yea, i think you tick all the boxes
can you try with just iris, dh and dependencies?
in a new world, so it doesnt break your existing one
Yeah this is on a server though so would that change anything?
/server
Distant Generation doesn't work in multiplayer, meaning DH won't be able to generate LODs for chunks outside the vanilla render distance.
Instead, as you travel around the world, LODs will be generated for areas you've visited.
In the next update, DH 2.3, you will be able to add DH to your server granted it's running a compatible mod/plugin loader (Fabric, (Neo)Forge, Bukkit and their derivatives). This will allow the server to generate LODs and send them to the client, making distant generation possible on multiplayer.
If you wish to try 2.3 early, read everything in this thread: https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1285883332768563284
Keep in mind that this build is still experimental, we do not encourage using it on large servers until further testing.
Only this
Ah okay makes sense
okay finally loaded a world with just the dependencies and the shaders I was using
This looks normal to me
yep, that looks correct
and you do see DH chunks here?
the quality of the screenshot is too poor to tell
Yeah I think so
