Since OpenXR no SteamVR-Connection in OB,

Hello, since the implementation of OpenXR, the menu button (controller) for SteamVR no longer works. And all controller settings made with SteamVR cannot be used in OB. OB launches with controllers vibrating and phantom inputs on both joysticks. The brush menu is not usable (autoscrolling left and right). Currently I am lost. There were other posts that were marked as solved, but unfortunately that doesn't apply to my systems (class). ...

Some vertex colors missing with FBX export

I think I found the solution to this bug. It appears to happen when you change the color after you lay brush strokes. Ex on the owl i did yesterday (daily) the body was one color which I made using a symmetry script. I changed the color for the wings and collar and when it was exported only one color showed. The rest I did not change using recolor in game were separated even when using the same paint type.

Controllers not visible, Oculus Store version

Controllers are visible in the load screen. Once the screen is bypassed controllers are no longer visible. Using the default Oculus store build. (Pretty sure its the store version, is the one that shows in my default previews). File is stored at C:\Program Files\Oculus\Software\Software\icosa-gallery-open-brush...

Turtle mode on the controller does not work well with guides.

The paint strokes go inside the guide and do not perform as accurately as without the turtle mode enabled. Applies to all versions of OB.

Camera path tool

I'm on quest 2 and when I trace a path and click record, it says "failed to record" and once the path starts tracing, there is no way of exiting out of the tool or use any other tool, I had to force shut down the app.

Erase/Copy issues in API

You can not erase or copy brush strokes once a piece has been saved.

The image shakes through Steam

I have a problem after the update. When I launch Open Brush via Steam, the whole scene starts to shake at the slightest movement of mine. It shakes very hard, I can't do anything. At the same time, the LIV's viewfinder and obs show that the picture is stable. How do I fix this? (Oculus Quest 2)...

Issues with deleting and merging layers

I have a problem where when I delete layers (either manually or using the trash can icon) the contents will still show up after I try to merge the layers and re-open the file. Sometimes it will get stuck and not let me merge the layers

Issue with lighting changing in offline rendering

Is there a way to change the lighting in a .usda file? When I render offline it is making one of my pieces darker (because I have it enlarged in VR for better lighting, which it keeps when it records the pathway, but then makes darker in offline rendering).

open brush overlying on top of OBS

Hey Open Brush peeps, this might be a silly question but it’s got me stumped. When loading open brush in steam vr, it overlays over my Obs session and I loose my recording source and I can record in game play. Is there a way to fix this?

Index Controllers Grip Issues

This appears to be a "feature" rather than a bug, but I've never benefited from it and I can't imagine anybody else benefiting. I have the Valve Index and the controllers for it make a difference between all fingers curled around the controller properly, and actually squeezing the controller. Unfortunately OpenBrush does not use the squeezing feature, and instead uses the contact feature, so it's extremely easy to accidentally trigger the grip behavior. One way in which this is a huge problem is when I am painting, and naturally my hand shifts in various ways over time with different strokes, and inevitably I'll hold the controller such that it triggers the gripping feature, and suddenly my brush is interrupted. Over and over and over. If it only triggered with squeezing pressure then it would be fine because that's an unreasonable amount of force for using a brush, but as it is, it's a hair trigger and cuts me off way, way too much. It's the only problematic aspect of the app but it's so significant because it can happen at any time and very easily. Needing to hold my controller so lightly like it's a dry leaf in danger of crumbling is ridiculous and even then often fails based just on how it sits in my hand. If I have too much contact, that's it, brushing interrupted....

Disappeared viewfinder in Open Brush

Hello. Everything worked well before. A month ago there were no problems. Yesterday I tried to run mixed reality with Open Brush using LIV via Steam, but after syncing and running Open Brush, the viewfinder disappears and I can't see myself from the outside. I use everything as before. I tried to connect through the camera of a smartphone and a laptop. Oculus Quest 2, link cable....

Index controllers don't show up on launch

When I start up Open Brush, my controllers are just invisible and I cannot get past the title screen, I've tried turning them off and back on, verifying file integrity, etc, no luck.

App wont close

Having an issue lately where the OB app on Oculus wont completely close and get the spinning wheel even when trying to close it using the 3 dots in the Oculus Menu. THe only thing that fixes it when it happens is a complete restart of the computer and the Headset. This is the only app that I have where this occurs. Not sure whats creating this issue. If I just restart oculus in menu, and use task manager to close the oculus app, it still shows the spinning wheel when its restarted.

Phantom Guides

Still experiencing guides being present after they are used and thrown away. When you paint in the same area, it will act as if the guide is still there even though you’ve thrown it away. The phantom Guide issue at the moment can only be resolved by toggling all guides off.

LIV head tracking not working
