Cloudflared setup: Empty config.yml file - Manual creation or automatic generation?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to set up cloudflared but I'm hitting a snag. I'm getting an error saying my config file at /Users/by/.cloudflared/config.yml is empty. I'm not sure if I need to create this file manually or if there's a command that should generate it automatically. Has anyone dealt with this before? Any tips on how to properly populate the config file? Thanks in advance!

AWS Route 53 Alias DNS

I am trying to connect my AWS api gateway to a CF domain using route 53. I have created an alias record inside my route 53 zone pointing to the gateway. The record is of type "A", and has a value of: "d-ID.execute-api.ZONE.amazonaws.com.". When I try and create a DNS record for this in the CF dashboard, I get an error stating that I cannot do it, because the value is not a valid IPV4 adress. What do I do?...

Getting original requester IP in logs

I am using DNS in AWS and routing traffic to my ALB on AWS. I have configured logs on ALB to be dumped in S3. Currently the issue is if I am using proxy then the IPs of cloudflare appear in the request IP. How do I get the original IP in the access logs of ALB?

Need Help Moving from Squarespace (post-Google migration) to Cloudflare

Hello community! I am attempting to use Cloudflare with Nginx Proxy Manager, however my domain was moved from Google Domains to Squarespace. I attempted to change the nameservers, waited a day and created my CF account in the meantime, and created the A records (@, www) that point to my external IP. My external IP is showing the NPM Congrats screen, so everything is port forwarded correctly. I just seem to get stuck on a 504 when attempting to visit my domain (stygia.one)...

I have a rule in Cloudflare Access allowing access from 1.2.3.4/24 (to my tunnel endpoint). If a connection is blocked, I don’t care. DOMAIN NOT PROPAGATED

Hello, I recently created a subdomain for my Minecraft server, which has a dedicated IP. I created a record type "A", in the name I put the subdomain "play" and in the content I put the numerical IP of my dedicated server. But apparently, it doesn't work for many users and it does for others, it's been 2 days since I created this subdomain, and it hasn't spread at all.

Hey! So I worked on an app for a client a while ago, and for some reason, all files from 2 buckets have been deleted on 6 september and 10, respectively. Is there any way of knowing where this came from? Literally the files went from all to 0 in a day, the app has no (to my knowledge) way to do this at all...

Getting "too many redirect" error when using cloudflare proxy with VPS

I have a cloud site hosted with a VPS, and I was transferring domain records and for some time, it appeared that my site was working in tandem with the DNS proxy setting provided by cloudflare, although now traversing to the site ends up with a "Too many redirects" error

How to host multiple pages on the same domain

I have a monorepo with 5 applications. Instead of giving each app its own subdomain I would like for one of these to be the home example.com/ (which might have other routes like /about-us, /legal, etc), and all others to be available in example.com/app1, example.com/app2, etc. How can I do this?
