unable to connect to MCU?
Ok.. i'm at a loss as to what happened and why. I have a Rat 500, all metal hotend and I printed 2 or 3 things yesterday, including mount for the BTT SFS V2.0. I hooked up the new SFS, plugged it in as shown in the document. All seem's good, the Dashboard showed the sensor and showed it had filament. I decided to check if I had any updates that were needed before starting a print...there were a couple so i applied them and now I can't get the pi to connect to the mcu, but yet, when i go to the http://ratos.local/configure?step=1 and in the upper right hand side and under Moonraker I choose flash all attached MCU's and it goes through and flashes and says successfuly flashed attached 1/1 mcu. I reboot and still the problem is there. Here is what log file is showing. Any help is greatly appreciated

Hello all... can use some help diagnosing issue
Ok, i just returned from a backpacking trip. Before my trip, i was printing something, once it completed, it parked the print head like normal and actual powered it's self off. Never had that done before. But it would NOT power back on. So, thinking power supply is out. Got a new one, hooked it up.... it turns on, but still is wrong. First the bed will not heat up. Second, i can't get the hot end or part cooling fan to turn on. So I quit trying anything and stepped back.... is it possible that the board is damaged? The hot end will start heating up, but the fan will not kick on. Anyway I can confirm my theory about the board or any other ideas or suggestions?
Thanks
Jim

belt shifting
Ok..I have a odd issue that doesn't make any sense. I did a print almost 2 weeks ago and shut the printer off until a day or 2 ago. I started having odd things happening early on in prints. Long story short, the lower belt in the back left hand side was starting to ride up into the other, but ONLY when the print head is moving towards the front of the printer. When you push the print head towards the back it drops back down. It's getting caught on the lower edge of the bearing. I've dropped the stepper out twice now, tried tightening and loosen the belts but nothing has made a difference. Is there something inside that assembly that I can't see causing it? You can see when you have the print head towards the front if you look at the belts in the very back get closer to each other going from right to left. But I can't figure out why it's riding up all of a sudden.
Thanks

z tilt issue
So I think I almost have my printer fixed except 1 issue. Its kinda odd, but here is what is happening
Once I get bed leveled old fashioned way, and do probe_calibrate I kick off z tilt.
Comes to front left, fine
Moves to back all is fine
Then moves to the front right and does the initial probe...BUT and ONLY on this step when its lowering the bed to move over to the front left 2 of the 3 z motors stop, the front right seems to lower another 1/2 to 3/4 rotation.
The motor does NOT do that on any other steps.
I have not replaced or changed anything related to z motors outside of replacing the board and drivers.
If it would do it on every step I'd replace driver it just seems odd that it only does that at that specific time.
Thanks

need advice on issues I`m seeing
Hello all,
I'm hoping someone can give me any idea about what I have going on. I'm seeing many just odd and strange behavior that I'm at a loss for what is going on. I'll start with the list of odd things, then I'll give my list of things I've replaced.
At random times, with print head anywhere and I choose to Home all axis, it moves on x axis just a couple of mm stops and says no trigger on x after full movement.
If Homing actually works, (there's a reason for this and explain later on..) I run probe_calibrate, then z tilt. This is all after i level the bed manually. When I run z tilt it will go through and 1 or 2 things will happen. 1 - it will go around and eventually give up or 2 - while actually watching the z tilt run another time, the rear and front right will raise the bed but front left fails to raise.
Now that is what I've seen since I've replaced a number of parts so I'll leave it at that. I was seeing other strange things before I started replacing things.
So far here is what I've
All the drivers on the board
Brand new hot end (from another issue)
Replaced Octopus pro 446 with brand new Octopus V1.1
The rp see's the mcu fine.
I am running new Rat OS with all updates it finds.
What should I look at and/or replace next?
Thanks
Jim

Rapido plus hotend
Has anyone installed a Rapido Plus on their ratrig yet? I had a big ...not sure what to call it, but had to reprint EVO parts and get a new hotend. I upgraded to the all metal Rapido Plus but something isn't right. It's not reading the temp correctly. I've replaced all the wires and no change. So that leaves 2 things, the board is damaged or 2 something special about the Plus that I don't know about. As soon as I turn the printer on and without doing anything it reads it at 159C, which I know isn't correct.
Thanks
Jim

error in middle of a print
Hello,
So, right in the middle.. or close to it around 40% complete... job failed and I finally dug through log files and found this... but it doesn't make any sense to me.
mcu 'mcu': Unable to open serial port: [Errno 2] could not open port /dev/btt-octopus-pro-446: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/dev/btt-octopus-pro-446'
U wasb;t even in the house when this happened so... i don't know what to make of this now. I had printed off 3 or 4 other prints earlier in the day, so it was working just fine

printhead gone wrong
Hello,
Out of the blue any movement on my print head has gone bad. If I try to home x, it moves both x and y. Same thing if I home y, it moves both x and y. And makes horrible sound

failed to init Unable to read tmc uart
Hi all... i'm sure there is a simple solution that is staring me in the face, but i'm blind right now. My original board was Octopus 446, because of an issue, i ordered and got an Octopus V1.1 board to put in it's place. I'm past my original issue that I had on my 446 board, but now it's having trouble with the motors. I've followed this: https://v-core.ratrig.com/electronics/#bigtreetech-octopus-v11-wiring-diagram z probe and all end stops work just fine. I get the following error on all the stepper motors: stepper_x failed to init: Unable to read tmc uart 'stepper_x' register IFCNT
First off, yes, i removed all the jumpers except the 1 on all the drivers. That was the very first thing I did before I started hooking it up. Since it's with all of the drivers, there is something else i've missed and not sure what it is.

z probe issues
Hello all,
I've been printing now with my RR 500 for a couple of months now just fine. But a strange z probe issue has shown up. I kicked off a print but it stopped after homing all because after it did the z, the super z probe was still triggered. I read that this can happen when there is a break in the cable or connection to prevent damage. I don't use zip ties on any cables coming out of print head. I've checked connections on board..nothing has mad a difference. I had a spare super in the bag brand new, not opened, didn't attach to printer, just plugged it into the board. I ended up with the same result as the original. Am I now looking at a problem with the board? The board is a 466
Thanks
Jim
