Weird blobs and gaps in print?
Ok i just ordered a filament dryer. Any idea why i'm not seeing this with smaller prints? I'd say my stringing had become more than i'd like too so wet filament could be the problem.

Thanks, what would you recommend to dry the petg? It's sunlu and was new out the vacuum bag but been stored for 6 months. Normally don' t have an issue though with the last 20kg its just been with this big full spool print. Cheers.

Vcore 4 500mm heatbed stopped heating?
I've replaced the thermal fuse from the old bed and now its working again. What made the old one blow? It's rating is 157c....

So I exposed the thermal fuse on the 500mm bed and it seems like thats gone as its getting nothing on the multimeter. I did the same to the 400mm vcore 3 bed and that beeps out fine as expected.
So what caused it to go? I only print PETG and the highest the bed temp had even been was 80c when preheating...

Could a slightly worn belt cause something similar to this too? I fixed a few issues that was causing the belt to move but still get similar graphs, tweaking sometimes slightly improves and it can also make it worse

Usb devices being reset during print
Everythings been fine now, done over 20 prints no issue. Hope this helps others

Managed to print orca's flow calibration, then tolerance test, followed by a small 20 minute print 35g of plastic without issue all back to back. Dmesg isn't showing any disconnects. Will test more but so far its looking good.
The problem was.... Faulty/loose connectors on my pi for some reason. It's the same pi ive been using for over a year but every usb in all 4 ports wobble and weirdly the ethernet don't click into the connector, it just sits loose. I remembered I had an old pi 3 and it wasn't until i plugged the usb's into that one i noticed the difference, and the ethernet clicked in too!
I'll follow up with how things hold up when i have more time to test but so far its been working.

Usb devices being reset during print
pulling on the power cable and usb c cable into the toolboard dont throw any errors and the other ends are directly connected to both the pi and psu. I don't understand why they are disconnecting unless theres issue elsewhere but where do you look 🤷🏼♂️
