I talk about fashion with my partner virtually everyday, and we (attempt to) to give each other objective feedback on our outfits. "do these shoes work here?" "does this color scheme make sense?" that kind of stuff. and it's fun talking about our differing styles, what we like and don't like. i don't have any in-person friends here to talk about men's fashion though in particular. and i put in effort to dress okay (by my own standards) every day. i don't think my #waywt fits are any different than the days i don't post. but i also rarely get the feeling of "i'm putting that shit on" personally lol

others in this thread definitely know much more about suits than I do, but there are some thinner/looser-weave wool suits that are okay for summer weather. part of the heat retention also comes from the suit lining too, so maybe something that has no lining or is partially-lined too.

Good shoes to pair with sneakers?

Can't go wrong with canvas in hotter weather, like Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars, or Vans Authentics or Slip-ons. I like my Stans, but I don't wear mine with shorts too frequently, never personally been a huge fan of leather sneaker + shorts

Based on the rephrased question if they're good for casual wear, I like band collared shirts personally and wish I had a few more in my wardrobe. Personally prefer a regular collar if wearing it unbuttoned and a tee underneath though

I'm a little confused about nitpicking the perfect shade of gray for the sweater but then saying screw it and just going all black? A black sweater will not look that good here imo if you're set on the navy pants and brown chelseas. i'm trying to incoporate this more into my own fits, i love the idea of it. for most of my fits the color scheme has usually all blended together, everything mostly muted, rarely a single piece "popping"

OrSlow Sizing...

My Orslow purchases are secondhand, so they've seen some wear/stretch potentially and I just trusted the sellers' measurements. But I'm also a 33 waist, so hopefully this helps. My slim fit fatigues are a size 3 and fit well, and my wool French work pants are a size 2 and also fit well.
