What are my cold weather fashion mfs wearing in the winter?
Overcoats? Down jackets? What are you rockin when it's so cold your piss freezes?
I'm up in Canada so it's gettin close to that time haha.
I grabbed an Arcetryx Thorsen a few years ago which is great, but it gets boring wearing the same jacket for months straight.

Down jacket under a big wool balmacaan.
Do you have any fit pics or inspo? I always feel like it clashes when I try that
This is what I'd wear in South Dakota typically when it would be ~10-20F and 15mph+ winds. The one in my fit is cotton, just pretend it's wool. And pretend it's bigger too, would recommend something that can also go down to your calf or even ankle.
But yeah, thin layer like a tee (or even something thermal) under a shirt under a sweater. Wool hat, wool scarf. Not pictured but definitely gloves, leather or wool. Also recommend wool pants even. Boots for sure to cover ankles. And of course wool socks.
Not sure if it's the kind of style you're going for, but variations of this got me by pretty well in those temps w/ wind.
That looks great! Basically layering and lots of wool eh. Where's that sweater from btw?
Just grab a light down liner. Doesn't really show under a coat unless the coat is very slim
Thanks! Sweater is Howlin' in this one.
Women's version has a fold down collar if you really don't want the jacket to show: https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E469862-000/00?colorDisplayCode=32&sizeDisplayCode=003

I see the vision 🙏🏾
I'm in the market for a nice overcoat but when it's bone shatteringly cold (rarer these days in Toronto, but it happens) I wear my big ass Karakoram parka
When it's not -10 or something I'll often just toss a Uniqlo ultralight vest under a moleskin jacket or something though.
Practicalities: When it's really cold, I find there is no substitute for a good down parka. But down parkas are expensive and take a lot of closet space, so it's not very practical to own several in different colors, styles, etc. And even if I did, I ultimately care more about staying warm than looking cute. My recommendation is to accept you're going to wear the same coat a lot, and focus on what's underneath. Try out different sweaters, turtlenecks, flannel shirts, thermals, wool pants, flannel lined jeans, etc.
