Adaptive mesh compensation- how to turn off?
By the second layer of this current print I've swung from 0.13 all the way to 0.31 by the 2nd layer. On the 2nd layer it comes out looking smooth at least to the eye. Could be an illusion though.

Adaptive mesh compensation- how to turn off?
As you can see in the photos the mesh starts out meh at the right, i then adjust and get it good- (disc on the right) then when it starts the disc to the left it gets all screwed up again likes there is no compensation happening there.

Weird squeaking in toolhead
It's causing some kind of extrusion issue as it's starts stringing and bobbing after running for an hour perfectly fine.

And here we go again... first layer problem even with beacon3D
Has anyone confirmed my suspisions a few weeks back that its a klipper problem? I have had the same issue on 2 different printers. The only common thread is they both run klipper and they both started doing it after a klipper update.

Nozzle gets closer to the bed every time during first layer (worse at higher temps).
I believe many of us are having the same issue. I always have to increase z height by about 0.07 for it to start flattening out. The trouble is even though I don't save the z height it ends up re-meshing every print so I have to adjust again and again. There is a post here somewhere where Mikkel says to add an temp offset in the printer.cfg or something to save changes for different filaments.

Awesome. Glad I could help. Yeah that's a new feature that I found was critical to getting the bridge to adhere at rhe beginning of its travel. It slows down the toolhead smoothly like a ramp instead of a cliff just before it leaves the part to form the bridge.

Corner dip. Bed level with PAM. Uneven first layer. i.e. perfect layer one side, opposite too close
A clean z offset calibration with the nozzle wiped clean with a wire brush did the trick it seems.
