Not sure what to wear for fall engagement photos
Not really relevant, but won't one of you be too cold or too warm?

Why do ties have 3 pattern pieces?
I had always assumed it was to save on stock material costs, but I'm curious if anyone has a definite answer.

How do I change my mindset to dressing for myself rather than others?
Is it difficult to differentiate between what you like and what you think your friends like?

Which suit
Both colors are fine for the occasion, and for any others you need a suit in. Canvassing is less important than just not getting fused. Then there's all the other factors you might consider, how often you'll be wearing the suit, to what occasions, what kind of weather you'll be wearing them in etc.

Had an interesting convo with the gf about how she doesn't understand why a discord server is needed for these conversations and fit checks because she can message any of her girl friends and get the same thing. Caring about fashion and how you look isn't very normalized in male social circles, and that definitely causes insecurities. It's easy to feel like you're not supposed to care or you're supposed to hide it.

Gauge and Ply in sweaters
But a more reasonable price point would be lambswool sweaters from places like Harley of Scotland or Jamieson's. People seem to really like the J.Press Shaggy dog sweaters.

Gauge and Ply in sweaters
Any price point considerations? Do you find some wool itchy? Without more information (like a price range), a thicker cashmere sweater from somewhere reputable like William Lockie would fit the bill.

Gauge and Ply in sweaters
And yes, you're right about the gauge. It's how many stitches to cover a 10x10 cm square. So a lower number means a chunkier knit.

Gauge and Ply in sweaters
Yarn isn't standardized so ply number has little meaning when used to compare different makers. Are you concerned about warmth? Is there a look you're going for?

Yea, I just meant I fit fine in exact and in ones half an inch larger.
