lost communnication with MCU 'toolboard_t0'
Have you double checked all of your custom crimps and made sure all of the connections are tight inside the electronics enclosure? I had a loose ground connection on the PS and I was getting all kinds of different random errors. I would start by wiggling all of the crimped connections on the toolhead and see if you can reproduce the error manually. Pay special attention to the red and black in the large white connector in upper right of EBB. That is power for the EBB. If you see the lights go out on the board when you wiggle, that is your issue for sure.

lost of conenction with mcu?
Mr Pomme I also have a 500 and kept randomly getting this even though I had put 4 zip ties and tightened them as much as I dared. The usb cable provided in the kit has a fair bit of extra slack that I had tucked in the electronics enclosure. I ended up pulling about 2-3 inches of slack out of the enclosure and worked it up close the hotend. I then used it to make a small half loop that is sticking out of the sheathing. I then put a zip tie above and below that half loop and have not had the issue since. It is very frustrating, and this was the only thing that worked for me.

VC4 500 Comissioning mesh
This mesh was with bed at 70 and hotend at 150, and I let it heat soak for about 30 mins. The mesh looks way worse at room temp.

it was not like that until the belts were adjusted, I checked it with the same straight edge.

I wouldn't pull on your extrusion unless you can see an obvious low spot with your staight edge. I could see light in the middle on mine, which is why I finally did that.

I read a post on another thread they were ordering a titanium rod to reinforce the extrusion. Not a bad idea except for the expense of titanium and all the work of tearing it back apart to install.

Yeah I am just below but I still think it's ugly for all the work I did. I really think the 500 needs a stronger X extrusion. Those belts exert some serious force once tightened and you know how much easier it is to flex something that is long rather than short. i bet that extrusion is deflecting variably during motion not to mention the general sag in the middle.

Octopus v1.1 not detecting
I had the same problem and it was the USB cable. Use the cable that came with the kit to connect the PI to the board. I was using a short one i had laying around and it caused me many wasted hours of troubleshooting.

Check all of your grounds in the electronics enclosure. I had the same problem and drove myself mad checking wiring, redoing crimps etc. I had one of the grounds on the PS that was not quite all the way tight and I swore I checked them all before powering on first time.

VC4 500 IDEX initial cold mesh
I have the same problem, only mine looks more like a transmission tunnel. Nothing I do helps and it actually got worse after last round of trying. I gave up for now and am printing without issue so far. I haven't done anything really big yet though. This appears to be a widespread issue that RR needs to provide a solution for. This is too much money to spend and see a mesh like that. Expecially after using machinist squares and straight edges and following the build guide to the letter.

how can i fix my bed v-core 4 500mm?
My mesh looks almost identical to that only the tunnel is almost centered. Everything I have tried has only made it worse. I kind of gave up and am printing on it with no issues so far. I know it ain't right, but solution is not apparent.

VC4 500 Comissioning mesh
I just finished my VC500 and my mesh looks like it has a transmission tunnel running down the middle from front to back. I checked my bed before installing and it was flat. That really sucks Kyreus, hope they make it right.

Issue with X endstop
my kit came with 2 extra ones and I swapped it out. It is plugged into the print head board and I followed the wiring guide exactly and have verified multiple times I have the wires in the correct place on the tool head side connector that i had to crimp. The instructions have to plug it into a 5 wire slot on the board, even though you only have 3.
