Thanks. They both fit great and feel good. Here are more data points: the raw one is dark blue, while the heavily faded one is black/grey. The rest of my outfits include olive pants and light wash blue jeans, and an assortment of linen shirts (long and short sleeve) in greens, peach, blue, and white/off white

Denim washes + lightening a pair

Wash with a little bleach (using the bleach pocket of your washing machine). Or soak in tub with a splash of bleach and swish around frequently. Rinse out while still darker than you want, since it will lighten a bit more when drying. Just don't cram them in a bucket of bleach water since that will result in uneven fades (ask me how I know)
