Spier and Mackay Suiting?
Does anyone have experience with Spier and Mackay’s suiting? Is it true to size? Looking to order some sale suits online but with their final sale policy I’m worried on the fit.

It's good. I had the opportunity to visit their Toronto store while on a trip to Canada, and try before buying. I bought my standard size with only sleeves needing to be lengthened (I have longer arms). Fwiw I chose the neo fit over the standard fit because I thought it looked better on my frame (and I like the high rise trousers).
How tall are you? And are you generally broad shouldered? What about the neo fit worked?
I'm a true medium, often slim. 5'11 155lbs. Neo fit made me look more v-shaped versus the 'straight' look of the standard fit
Thank you!
Fwiw I got a 38R and not the slim fit
Final sale on a suit with a brand you aren’t accustomed to already is tough stuff.
I know - but I yolo'd it
44R, contemporary fit
came out to $230 CAD
can't go wrong really
ill try ot sell it to a friend if it doesnt fit
Compared to SuitSupply (its main competitor in the segment), their Contemporary Fit is much more forgiving for people who aren’t tall and slim. I own several suits from them, and their sizing is consistent, but remember to do things like size up slightly for fabrics with less/no give.
I went off my typical BB Regent Fit sizing, so hope it will compare favourably
They also have measurements of the actual garment and iirc when I measured mine it was within accuracy
How slim are the pants? I have bigger thighs and I have read their pants are on the slimmer side so it keeps putting me off
I have big legs too, and so long as you’re honest with your measurements, you won’t go wrong. You can also go custom if it’s a major issue.
