Americana/Workwear Jacket Suggestions Please!
Hello!
I'm about to travel to London/Scotland in a few weeks and just realized that I no longer own a jacket for cooler/wetter weather. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a heavier duty work/chore/casual jacket that is wind and water resistant? I used to wear an Alpha Industries bomber for the East Coast winters but have since given the jacket away since moving back to the West Coast. I've been eyeing some jackets such as the Filson Tin Cloth Work Jacket and some of Flint and Tinder's items but I've been reading some mixed results about quality.
My ideal budget would be less than $400, medium weight, hard wearing, and relatively roomy enough for me to layer with. Thanks in advance for your time and help!

If you're going to London you might as well buy a Barbour. Quintessential weather resistant country/hunting jacket with all the features you mentioned.
