Clarks wallabee boot sizing?
I usually wear a 10 in non-sneakers, and the Wallabee does fit me in this size. However, the sole feels a bit precarious in this size so I always switch up to a 10.5 (my sneaker size). It’s not too big and it feels more stable.

Jncos for tall people
I think JNCO inseams are way oversized, which isn’t surprising because they used to be worn super long. The models are 6’2” and they’re wearing 32 inseams and the shoes are covered with denim. That’s just how they are made to be worn.

wearing a regular button down unbuttoned/as a shirt jacket
I actually didn’t mess with overshirts for years because I tried to use my existing button up shirts as oversshirts and I did not like the look. In my experience, the overshirt will be a bit bigger and a bit heavier so it will wear more like a jacket. Now I do have bigger and heavier shirts that I will also wear as an overshirt. But I have also worn oversized chambray shirts (that are maybe mid weight) as an overshirt too, with some success. So I guess all I’m saying is try it and see if you like the way it hangs/lays…

Fit Check and Recommendations
Issues with the Levi’s include: 1) probably has stretch, 2) rise is too short, 3) tapers too much. Any Levi’s 93s are probably going to have stretch. You definitely dont want anything skinny if you like the Mujis, and you probably don’t want slim either.

Looking for this jacket
I went deep researching these on eBay a year or two ago, and the problem I had was that the truly old ones are too small for me, and the 80s/90s ones have really big and wide upper sleeves which look terrible on me (I did buy one so I know it looks terrible on me). I figured I would have to explore the modern repros from other brands but I haven’t gotten there yet (too-many-jackets related)

Office workers - what socks do you wear to work?
Ralph’s got some good multi packs of brown/cream/tan crew socks that are what I would wear to the office half the year. Then the thinner Uniqlo 50 color ones with loafers the other half.

Alternatives to chinos/kahkis?
The rise is pretty long (for me - I don’t wear a high rise), the fit is pretty generous but that’s what the drawstring is for. The quality is good for the $35 they’re priced at now. The material is a bit thin and the cord ribs are not substantial. I actually think they could work in warmer weather than my other cords for this reason.

Muji has had corduroys in your price range recently. I like both the straight fit with drawstring (on the thinner side) and the wider without drawstring (thicker). Don’t know if they’re all still available.

mystery cashmere coat
It probably is all cashmere- there are tons of these on eBay and none of them have another tag. The only ones I see with a materials tag call it “teller coat” rather than “cashmere coat”.

I got the “minimalist billfold wallet” from Taylor Stitch a few years ago and I’ve been happy with it. Very small and has held up well.

I think I bought fake Chuck 70s
Size tag is much different than those sold in the U.S. But those sold in U.S. are not made in Brazil. Made in Brazil for Brazilian market maybe? FYI there are whole worlds of things we think are too cheap to get faked here that are faked in other parts of the world.

Is this the size stamp?
My Sebagos are newer and have a label on the tongue. But I looked around at vintage pairs on eBay and I did see some with a D in that spot, which is the traditional way to indicate a normal width. They may use a different system now.
