ID on a PRL tag and possible items it could be?

I thrifted this black v neck but I’ve never seen a tag like this There’s no other tags on it for materials or country of manufacture which is unfortunate

no other tags feels like a red flag to me. fwiw it’ll be almost impossible to ID it to a specific model they’ve simply produced so many similar jumpers over the years to pin it down

PRL has been pumping out clothes under various lines and sublines for decades, it'd be nearly impossible to ID this even if you had more tags tbh

Yeah asking for an item id was a shot in the dark, I was moreso concerned with the tag being different from what I’ve seen

I wouldn't sweat the tag diff tbh. PRL had so many diff tags over the years. If it's a polo bear sweater youd have cause for concern for it to be a fake but those are also p easy to ID, but if its just a black knit pullover its more than likely legit nvm apparently fake but tbh still nothin to sweat

thanks! Dyk any way to test materials To see if it’s wool I can just try to wash it and see how easily it gets wet rigjt At least from my experience it’s really hard to get my wool sweaters wet when I hand wash them

That could be a decent indicator yea. Im not too precious with my clothes tbh. Garment bags for lace, thin garments, or smaller wool pieces. Large wool items get laid flat on a towel, rolled up, and tossed in on delicate cold tho.

Tag looks pretty fake to me. I’ve seen lots of Ralph basics in bootleg form over the years at thrift shops.

That's a fake tag unfortunately but if you like the sweater and you didn't spend much then who cares!
