Incompatibility with The wild backport

As tittle says. Add it on #faq-mod-support...

Cave islands don't have complete shells at a distance.

Probably just how the world is loaded and how it places lod segments for a thin wall like this but if there's any way to work out this possible oversight in future versions then that'd be nice.

Missing tooltip in DH config

This is located in advanced options > graphics > noise texture > noise steps. Would still like to know what this option does if someone could explain it to me ^^ (on a sidenote, the "MC 1.20" tag seems to be missing when creating a post?)...

LODs not updating after large TNT explosion

Title. DH seems to be very reluctant on dropping the old LODs after large explosions. Placing or breaking blocks seems to update the LODs to have the new exploded terrain. Not sure if singleplayer is affected as I've only experienced this on multiplayer

Minor typo on debug options screen

Title sums this one up. The typo in question being "Note: this is option isn't saved between sessions."

Things break at high distance

Beta: In end dimention, the bottom stuff gets rendered flat above

As seen in the image, in the end. The top faces of the end island gets clamped to y level 40 The bottom faces dont get rendered at all...

DH rendering non-full blocks inside normal rendered chunks

Reporting this bug that I thought was very common, as I encounter it a lot. But since I've not seen anyone talk about it, I thought I should report it. Similar issues also happen with other non-full blocks inside my normal render distance like slabs and walls. The photo is zoomed in, when I get closer, the weird rendering disappears.

TerraFermaCraft leaf blocks not rendering in LODs

The leaves that are modified/added by TerraFerma do not render in LODs possibly due to the fact they have no collision (you can walk through them)...

IDK what's the difference between those two, why is one is simply not getting correct color. sadly it's one of the most common types of grass in this mod. Also distant generation is completly borked, but with such custom generator it's mearly secondary....

10-20 second lag spike when changing dimension

The easiest example is going through a portal, but multiworld setups also do it. It seems to be proportional to the amount of explored chunks (tested in multiplayer, have not tested in singleplayer). I'm using DH 1.6.9a on 1.19.2 I used perf to trace what was eating so much time and found the render thread pretty much idle while LodDimensionFil was dominant, with ~half it's time in shaded.tukaani.xz.lz.Matches shaded.tukaani.xz.lz.HC4.getMatches. It seems DH blocks everything while it saves to disk? Perhaps we could do that asynchronously, or perhaps solving issue 250 would be good enough. I do have other mods installed, so I'll get you a cleaner trace with just DH if you want....

Changing between Iris-Optifabric modpacks break the multiplayer-generated chunks.

I've recently tested some mods, before i uninstalled them and restored the old modlist. After that, even if I did not join the server at all, the chunks have stopped loading, even if the server's lod folder is still on my PC. DistantHorizons-1.6.5a-1.18.2 Fabric...
