pregenerated chunks on a server

Hi, I was wandering if it is possible to somehow download the pregenerated chunks (chunky) from my server (I host it and have access to all the files) and have distant horyzons be albe to draw the chunks on my client.

Internal Server Lag

Running big globe with DH + other mods, the GPU is fine with shaders but the CPU is DYING and the internal server lag is ridiuclous, does anyone know a fix?

DH suddenly causing crashes on multiple versions

Im using latest nightly build for my new 1.20.1 modpack currently, and it crashes when joining a world, both single player and multiplayer, no useful stuff in the logs. Yesterday, before i used this modpack, i was playing on my other modpack thats 1.21, also with a nightly build. Several Crashes I can't Solve

I have been playing with DH for awhile, and I really like the mod, but I have had these specific crashes showing up randomly, and they all share the same: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION on them. I created my own modpack on the Curseforge launcher, and I am 99% sure DH is what is causing these crashes. I have played with and without shaders, and it seems like the crash still persists. For some additional background, I built a new PC a few months ago, but I’m not very good with computers, so if you have any solutions, could you please share them in caveman terms so I can easily follow? Should i delete DH chunks from my world before uploading it to a server?

I made a modpack for me and a couple mates, we all have DH installed, some use it some dont i use it the most tho i am the one hosting the world through essential, tomorrow im gonna rent a server and i was wondering if i should delete the DH chunks from the world before uploading it to the server since i wont have DH installed on the server. And also would that affect my friends that have loaded dh chunks or are they client sided for them?

"Distant Horizons requires Indium to work with Sodium" even though I'm using Sodium 6.2 or 6.6...

For some reason, using a nightly 1.21.4 build of Distant Horizons with Lunar Client gives me the "Distant Horizons requires Indium to work with Sodium" crashing issue, even though it's on a Sodium + Lithium version of Sodium, and when I launch the same version of DH with another modpack... it launches no problem. Is this just Lunar doing something dumb causing incompatability in the background?

Error message spam and crash in custom world merged with MCA Selector

Hey there, I'm working on a custom map and it includes some world merging using MCA Selector. As I move throughout the world to test that my changes have worked, I will randomly get hit with rapid fire error message spam from Distant Horizons and if I don't teleport out of the area fast enough the game will crash. The message: [distant horizons] Error: no key max_section in MapLike[{old_noise:1b}]; no key min_section in MapLike[{old_noise:1b}]...

In this case the mountains were grass and i painted them with red wool to color them but from a far distance they still look red wool.

Does C2ME still slow down chunk loading?

The last post I saw a few months ago says that C2me slows down DH generation, is this still the case? Just checking if anything has changed

LODs not rendering below me

I installed a performance mod (Better FPS - Render Distance[Forge]) that changes the default vanilla rendering, which is cylindric to a configurable 3d sphere of where chunks are rendered. Now whenever i go too far up chunks below me arent rendered either in vanilla or DH. I was wondering if there was a overdraw option in DH to make chunks directly around you render too.
Solution:
you have to go into Advanced options -> Graphics -> Advanced Graphics Options and put Overdraw Prevention to 0.0

shader packs not working and a bunch of other things also.

so this is my first time messing with shaders in MC java and i tried using shaders and everything is in the right place but for some reasosn shaders dont appear in video settings. i dont have any erors besides that and my game crashing once

Putting the downloaded jar file in a mod folder i created didnt seem to install it for me

Distant Horizons does not appear to work for me after adding the downloaded jar file for the minecraft version 1.21.1 while using minecraft version 1.21.1 I think its possible it is working but it is set to minecraft's default rendering as a default, and I would need to adjust the settings in either the setttings button to the left of the FOV slider or the config file as an alternative i saw in an FAQ, however I dont see the button, and im not sure how to get to the config file. But i dont know if any of this is the case....

mob farms or crop farms stay loaded?

Hello, I’m new to using the mod so plz bear with me if this is a stupid question: Do mob farms or crop farms stay loaded and work properly with this mod? If they dont work properly, is there any solutions like a chunk loader i can use?...
Solution:
no, the chunks rendered by distant horizons are fake. for crop farms and mob farms, the player needs to be in the vicinity anyways, chunk loaders won't work

weird water effect

For some reason when I use DH with complimentary unbound it creates this weird effect on the water between chunks, anyone else experienced this or know how to fix? I am on the latest version of 1.21.4 DH

Black Chunks

So I've got the black chunks issue and ive removed starlight and started a new map, and the problem kept happening. I've went through (i think) every light/performance related mod and STILL it keeps happening
