"Distant Horizons requires Indium to work with Sodium" even though I'm using Sodium 6.2 or 6.6...

For some reason, using a nightly 1.21.4 build of Distant Horizons with Lunar Client gives me the "Distant Horizons requires Indium to work with Sodium" crashing issue, even though it's on a Sodium + Lithium version of Sodium, and when I launch the same version of DH with another modpack... it launches no problem. Is this just Lunar doing something dumb causing incompatability in the background?

Lunar includes its own Sodium and Iris versions This Sodium is detected and Indium is required for them You can't get rid of them And thus Lunar is not supported https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1035937813310484540/1035943534945112096 We can recommend: - Modrinth App (tutorial) - Prism Launcher Or if you want, you can also use vanilla launcher . For further support for Lunar PLS contact Lunar support

is it because of some mixin or something? because I overrode it with my own version of sodium i mean it works pretty well out of the box

it may work fine out of the box, but if you want to edit anything to your liking, lunar's design prevents you to youre experiencing it right now when all you want to do is update sodium just one mod and lunar breaks

You are not overriding the Sodium version, you are using both at the same time, that is the problem with Lunar

yeah it’s OD because it was working really well with DH for a while and then boop but also, man… I really like their mod UI and some of their other qol stuff Oh what the (heck), that’s weird What I don't understand is why their version of Sodium, which also has the "provides" indium tag and everything, apparently "doesn't" have Indium. Does DH try to find Indium in a different way?

I Think it just checks is Sodium <0.6 is preset, don’t ask me what lunar does that trigger the DH check Ask Lunar

It is what exactly? Have you managed to edit the Lunar Sodium to make it mark Indium as provided?

no
Miki_P98
