NoClassDefFoundError
I found a nice little Create+Minecolinies modpack for 1.18.2 (the most recent version of the game I am willing to play), and I decided to add Distant Horizons to it. The game won't open to the main menu, and it "crashes" to this screen. It says the mod encountered an issue during the "sides-setup event phase" (whatever that means) and then elaborates with this "NoClassDefFoundError" Java error. I have cross-referenced the mod's list of incompatible mods with the modpack's mods, and I didn't find any (but the USDOT does say I'm blind, so that could explain it). The modpack in question is Castle Colonies 3.2.0 by noelwiz on Curseforge if that helps.
I currently have DH2.1.2a, but the same issue occured with the most recent 2.2.0a, both for Forge for game version 1.18.2.
I assume 1.18.2 is still actively supported since 2.2.0 for 1.18.2 was released 6 days ago according to Curseforge, but if it's not, I apologise for posting about it here. I also apologise if this has been asked and/or solved, as I could not find it by searching for the error (it gave no results after just typing "NoC" for "NoClass" and "No Cl" for "No Class")....
DH message spam in the chat?
Does anyone know how I can Hide this msg in the chat or fix the issue that it says im having?
I've tried increasing my cpu output like it says in the chat, & I've also looked through the #faq-general To find a post about hiding error messages, But i got lost and dont know if the settings changed in this version.
When I go to >Settings>Advanced Settings> Debug > Debug Switch
There is no "debug switch" wording that I could find. So if it got renamed then please tell me....
Using 2.2, distant generation gives me unfinished terrain.
Maybe it's a mod compatibility issue? I'm running ReTerraForged + WWOO as well as some structure mods. Don't know how this would cause problems but I figured I'd note it.
Shader water texture not used nearby, only in LOD
Transparency is enabled. Latest MC, Iris, DH and shader version.
The default texture for water shows close to me, whereas the distant LODs use the shader's texture for water. I'm wanting to use the shader texture, but can't figure out how to fix it. I've also tried installing a transparent texture for the water, but it keeps its colour and doesn't adopt the shader's effects...

There is some fog and i dont know how to disable it
Hello, I hope you are having a wonderful day. I am having a problem with a render fog issue, and I don't know how to fix it. I have tried to look in the settings, but it won't go away. The only way it disappears is when I enable a shader, and that dips my performance greatly.
Trees are not rendering
Trying custom world generation datapack, and it doesn't want to render trees and some structures until I get close enough. I have some modes installed but it's work fine in vanilla world gen. Everything was in singleplayer
multiple issues with generated lod
some things seem to generate in a square pattern like trees and snow but when i get closer it becomes normal, under floating islands there are strange waterfall looking things but when i get closer there is nothing there. there are a few other problems not shown here, bamboo seems to generate taller lod than the actual bamboo when i load the chunks and trees can sometimes be misplaced or the wrong shape in lod and pop into the right shape when i load the chunks.
i have a feeling these might be compatibility issues
the mods i'm using that i'm guessing could cause issues are c2me, noisium, lithium, tectonic, terralith and modernfix
are any of these known issues?...

DH mixing worlds in servers
Hi, im playing in a server that has sub-servers that are only accessible with the /server command, because of this DH puts multiple world data into a single file resulting in mixing. is this fixable?
Solution:
You can enable multiverse support under the
Advanced > Multiplayer
config tab by setting Multi Dimension Required Similarity
to something higher than 0.0.
I recommend 0.8 as a good starting place and dropping it to 0.4 or lower if the dimensions aren't saved/loaded correctly....ERROR : chunk generation timed out and terminated,please lower CPU load.

What i have tried so far:
-Using a lower cpu load from DH mod itself,and setting it to low at the very least,and modifying how many threads I used to generate chunks. So I went from aggresive to low in DH settings,and I went from 4 to 8 threads in the minecraft settings. Still did not work....
DH 1.2.0 requires iris 1.7.4 which is not available for 1.20.1
Is there any way to bypass this dependency conflict I really need the fixes from 1.2.0
Help with double clouds
What mod causes the normal miencraft clouds to appear? I disables clouds in minecraft settings itself? This occurred downloading the new distant horizon update together with all the 1.21.1 versions of mods. Including beta Iris and Sodium
Distant Horizons Crashing with Code 6
DH 2.1 on 1.21 fabric worked with all the Mods that I used. Then I upgraded to DH 2.2a but then DH Crashed with Code 6. I tried Only running DH alone, but it crashed again. I generated a new world, then DH worked fine, the same with all the Mods, then it crashed again
Lod chunks not loading
I loaded game and put my rendering speed to I paid for the whole CPU and I waited 30 minutes and not even one lod chunk appeared I tried enabling debug wireframe to see if anything is loading but it also doesn't work
New DH update makes mushroom blocks green on lodI k
now the faqs explained this can be grey/white. but this is something on the previous version I saw on modded blocks so I didnt mind. But with the new update I now see it (first thing I can notice so far) on the white mushroom blocks and want to know if theres a fix or if this is something new.
This is very random and goes away but sometimes comes back....
Skin corruption on DH 2.2
I updated my mods list for DH 2.2 on Quilt for 1.20.1 and my skin looks weird and corrupted now. Here is exactly what I did:
- Removed DistantHorizons-2.1.2-a-1.20.1-forge-fabric
- Removed sodium-fabric-0.5.10+mc1.20.1
- Removed iris-1.7.2+mc1.20.1...
Solution:
It is most likely either Iris or Sodium issue
