Shader water texture not used nearby, only in LOD
Transparency is enabled. Latest MC, Iris, DH and shader version.
The default texture for water shows close to me, whereas the distant LODs use the shader's texture for water. I'm wanting to use the shader texture, but can't figure out how to fix it. I've also tried installing a transparent texture for the water, but it keeps its colour and doesn't adopt the shader's effects

whats the full mods list? do you have any recourse pack enabled?
Forgot to say I'm using Complementary Shaders - Reimagined. Only using a resource pack for sounds. Its mostly vanilla with client side mods. JEI, Xaeros world/minimap, Iris, Neoforge
can you try with just iris, sodium and DH?
I'd need to install Sodium, as well as figure out what that is, but I can try it

well it was working without it. I'll get back to you once i get them working together
you wont even be able to boot the game if you had iris but not sodium

You should send your
latest.log file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
