BMC4 Compatability
Hey all, I recently bought a server and have been playing BMC4 modpack on it. I saw a video of distant horizons and wanted to add it, but when I add it I start to crash with error code -1 every time I try loading up the game.
Are there any known mods that I should delete to get this working?...
DH 2.2 on Neoforge, minecraft 1.20.1 and Oculus/Iris?

I just tried updating my pack to Distant Horizons 2.2, but unfortunately, it crashes during the startup, because of incompatibility with Oculus. Am I stuck with DH 2.1 or there is a way to have shader support and DH on minecraft 1.20.1 and Neoforge?

LODS fade away when approached
when i'm looking for good spots to build in spectator when i get too close to the land it unloads. just hoping someone knew a setting to prevent this from happening
Mod List Review
Not really a problem just wanted a second opinion on the current mods that I have in my list and if you would recommend I remove or add any that would help with my singleplayer world

Is this a memory thing, or is something else happening?
I get longer and longer lag spikes until eventually my game just freezes entirely and I have to kill it manually.
Solution:
It might be an old memory leak that was already fixed in DH 2.2
Random chunks of water don't exist.
My distant horizons version is 2.1.2-a, my Iris version is 1.7.2, my sodium version is 0.5.11. My game version is 1.20.1.
not rendering
Hello, I set the enable rendering setting to false and then to true and the game was working like this before. How can I solve this? What is the problem?
Change color of leaves?
In this screenshot, you can see that the LOD birch leaves are much darker than the real ones, which doesn't look very good. Is there a way to change the color? My guess is that it's taking the transparent black pixels in the texture into account, so would making a resource pack that turns them green (gray?) fix this?
Not working even with Chunky
Hi, I have a server which I'm trying to get DH to work on. I copied the world file to singleplayer and used chunky on a radius of 4000. The world still doesnt look like it has DH. I have googled and read through this Discord but I can't seem to fix it, please may someone help me?
I'm using Bliss shaders and am running 1.21....
ghost trees and abrupt end of rendering
So i was having extreme amount of ghost trees going up into the sky in some places on my modpack. so i did a fresh install with just 2.1.2 and whats needed for it. i was still getting some regular sized glitched ghost trees and just like the others theyd disapear if i got close enough. i cant find the ss i took for this issue but its easy enough to describe.
also my DH renders fast enough until it reaches a point where it stops and goes no further at any speed. mem util is about 50-60% gpu and cpu arent at 100 usage but spike sometimes. im attaching a photo of this issue
also im using curseforge.
also i get occasional large holes in this unfinished generation....
Rethinking voxels doesnt work anymore.
I tried to use rethinkign voxels first the rethinking voxels r0.1 beta 5 seemed to work but than it didnt and the official newest version made the lods not appear
weird artifacting
Didnt want to make a help-me sub for something this minor, but here it is.
Just some weird artifacts using DH on a server....

Game version 1.21 and running the latest dev build 2.3.0 (had the same issue on 2.2.1 however)
honestly not sure what's causing this, but there are a few large chunk holes, and when I move to the area to load them, my disk & CPU usage spike for ~30 seconds, and then after the usage goes down, when i move away the holes reappear.
My CPU is running at a constant 70% even when idling, which is unusual. Turning down LOD builder threads does nothing for CPU performance, but turning file handler threads down instantly drops it....
Missing Chunks/Black Holes using DH with ATM 9 and Extra Performance Mods
Running ATM 9 with these extra performance mods (reddit post) (or at least the ones I could install in 1.20.1) and getting large black holes/missing chunks. Any fix for this, is it one of the performance mods?

LOD dont appear in giant mod pack
I tried to follow the faq but I somehow didnt get the last steps.
I am making a really big modpack that goes like this. Maybe someone finds a mod that removes lod mod

Need Help with settings.
So im running a modded server with shaders and DH, i have the mod on the server and can access the settings but i dont know how to get it to work. Im not crashing or having glitches it just doesnt seem to be working for me, im not sure if i need to adjust some settings or need another mod since i have shaders but i havent been able to figure it.
1.20.1 server weirdness rendering shaders/DH?
When I load in, I have DH working with no shaders, then I enable ComplementaryUnbound5.2.2 , 5.2.1, or 4.something, it has weird issues like this. I've tried turning shaders off then back on again as well.

Using DH with forge, Shaders wont work with DH, DH Chunks don't appear. What do I do? I am not using IRIS as I'm running a server with forge.
