Custom SOA Records and permission for Cloudflare API for DDNS (ddclient or CF API prefer) with BIND9

I'm quite new to attempting to dynamically update DNS from my environemt to anything really out there and wanted to learn. Few questions and some errors I came across with some issues and I've googled/researched in general for trying to resolve it and come up with more and more issues. anyways, here is what it is: Using - Ubuntu server 22.04 DNS Service - BIND9 Dynamic DNS handled - DDCLIENT (or I would like to just use cron with the CF API preferred from bash) ...

NS Servers not propogating on Cloudflare

I recently registered synxdata.us with Cloudflare. My website host is located on Wix with nameservers (ns4.wixdns.net & ns54.wixdns.net). There are two NS records on Cloudflare that correspond to the updated Wix nameservers. Yet, the Cloudflare Nameservers have not been updated as seen https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/synxdata.us I have to be missing something simple. Help....

conditional routing to a different endpoint

Is it possible to set conditional request routing(based on user-agent) to a different endpoint(outside cloudflare) and setting up a custom request header in the request? I see worker is an option but it will cost a lot. is there any other way?

How to fix deleted Zone

I recently received an email that the zone was deleted and I would like to add it back. I am developer working on a project and I have taken up from the previous developer who created it. How do I manage to reinstate the domain name on my dashboard without having to pay as it has a 10 year paid plan then eventually deploy work onto the domain

Hey everyone, I need some help with something.

I live in Turkey and I've been having trouble connecting to Discord. I saw that I could connect using ZeroTrust, but unfortunately, my internet provider has blocked DNS settings. Right now, I'm using someone else's ZeroTrust, but as you can imagine, I'm not too comfortable with it, and I'm hesitant to ask them how they set it up. So, in short, how can I change the DNS settings?

Attempting to locate DNS IPV4 Address

Remove domains in Account Home

I move my domains to new Cloudflare account with feature Move to another Cloudflare account and domain is moved to new Cloudflare Account. But has big problem for older account, it listed on Account Home with status as Moved. I try remove it and got error

The zone cannot be deleted as the domain is currently registered through Cloudflare's registrar. If you wish to delete the domain registration please contact support for assistance.

I had a ticket for this about 5 months ago. I needed more information, I got it now, and now the email support doesn't exist? The ticket was 3245545 and I have the requested information to reset 2FA (payment info) which I'm obviously not going to put here.

Argo billing issue

We had a situation where Argo daily billing usage showed far less than billed so we continued using it. I raised a ticket several months ago and then two follow up tickets. I've yet to get any response. Months now. Pro account....

Russia is blocking ECH. Can't disable it in free plan !!!

https://www.comss.ru/page.php?id=15036 I've confirmed this. Sites are blocked now. And free plan in cloudflare setting don't have any option to fix this. Only way is to disable TLS 1.3 which I don't want to do that....

SSL error with the subdomain `api.staging`

Dear Support Team, I am experiencing an SSL error with the subdomain api.staging, which is set up as a CNAME record on Cloudflare DNS. Despite having deployed an Amazon EKS cluster using an ingress NGINX controller and attaching a valid Let's Encrypt certificate to our load balancer, accessing routes like https://api.staging.lokalee.app/product/v2 results in the error: "Secure Connection Failed". Other subdomains are functioning correctly with SSL, but api.staging shows "This domain is not covered by a certificate". We are using an EKS cluster, and the application is a Node.js app published through an ingress NGINX controller. Could you please assist in identifying and resolving the issue? Best regards,...

What is "prepaid" meaning for storage?

Quick question Docs mention that storage for images is "prepaid" in $5 per 100K images stored. Does one have to manually buy them or does it just mean it will charge in $5 intervals (for lack of a better word)....

Solution:

Postpaid means you pay for your usage at the end of the month. Prepaid means you pay ahead for what you want to use. For Images, this means you pay for an amount you can use (see screenshot), and you can't go over without manually upgrading the amount.

if app would get popular overnight users might be denied to upload until new 100k is bought which is kind of not great.

Could always use R2 which is postpaid for storage & cheaper if you don't need any of the other images features like variants and resizing, and even if you do, can use Image Resizing with R2 seperately...
