Not to get meta here but this very much depends on what matters in a shirt to you. Like, the happiness I get from a plain old comfort colors is close enough to something much nicer that I would much rather direct that money towards a cool pair of pants or something. If getting really granular on the details of a t shirt makes you happy then go for it but if it’s just “I want the best below x price” I feel like that could be solved plenty well with “good enough”

This is impossible to say without knowing what you want out of a pair of jeans. What do you like about these two? What do you not like about other pairs you’ve looked at/worn? Do you have any inspo photos/albums for how you’re trying to wear them?

This is a half baked thought and I feel this less strongly about fashion than I do about other variations of “is xyz art” because fashion has such a relationship with fiber arts and sculpture and everything but I do think the impulse to call “thing I like” art to legitimize it has a tendency to flatten the ability to actually talk about what makes “thing I like” special

Is there a cooler weather equivalent of the camp shirt (or maybe a nicer one of plaid flannel)?

Maybe a pendleton board shirt or similar secondhand? https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=pendleton+board+shirt loop collar shirt might also be worth trying but that might yield less flannel and more rayon

I’ve tried wearing corridor stuff a few times now and resold it every time. Their camp collars are probably the closest to something I’d want to wear? I think I enjoy the sort of loose weave, dimensional texture on their acid plaid flannels but literally every time I reached for one I’d take it off before leaving the house and put on an old five brothers or something
