expected probe state to be deployed but is stowed (1) on start of print
Solved it. There is a bug in the adaptive mesh "[gcode_macro PROBE_FOR_PRIMING]" line 105 - "{% set z = printer.configfile.settings.bed_mesh.horizontal_move_z|float %}" where it doesn't account for the probe z offset. The config for my machine has a horizontal_move_z set to 5 and my probe offset is also about 5. For my fix I added "horizontal_move_z: 10" to the [bed_mesh] section (add section if not there)

Belts Binding in specific spot
Hi Len. Might not be related but I'm chasing down a similar issue. I checked my bearing stack and it was correct. I then measured the Mini Precision Shim's and found they are not so precision. 0.93mm. Moving the 2GT Timing Pulley to account for the shim error seems to have solved my end.

Clogged hotend?
Orbiter steeper is missing steps. While extruding at 5mm/s for 50mm it becomes very obvious hearing the Stepper miss and the extruded filament shows little imperfections in time with the sound of the step missing. Increased tmc2209 extruder current to 0.9 (was 0.35) at the end of slicer start gcode. Unsure what's causing the restriction to the filament. Changed tube joining extruder and hotend. Removed long tube going into top of extruder.
