check crowsnest.conf
the FPS is set there

does it only show 1 fps even when printing?
yes sir
increase resolution, maybe it helps
still the same

open webcam tab and check. That is not the best place to check this
home the machine and check if it improves
after homing

not after... during
its the same during
not sure why. Everything looks ok in configs
Just went through this yesterday. Nuke the current webcam, and then "Add webcam" using the "Adaptive MJPEG" setting. Change your framerate in "Crowsnest.conf" to say 25 to 30 fps, and then reboot. I'm routinely seeing around 17 to 20 fps printing or not. It's a bit jerky, but better than static.
I would use 'camera-streamer`, it is supposed to take advantage of the raspi better

I can't find the model, but it is a logitech and going to this mode I was able to get 30+ fps where before it was barely clearing 10, and at a higher resolution now
I couldn't get webrtc to connect, but maybe I need to try the same approach and nuke the cam working now. It's crystal clear at 20 fps, but if it'll take some load off the LAN it'll be worth a shot.
nothing is working for me at this moment..
double check that the cam still works hooked up to your computer?
yea sorry, didnt mean its not working. im still getting 0-1 fps. and its only the adaptive mjpeg thats giving me a video. none of the other ones
oh, okay. By "nothing is working" i thought you weren't getting video at all anymore
not the right word from my side, apologize
Is there plenty of light? If a webcam isn't getting a much light, it will turn down its fps just to get something of a picture out
yes, i got led light in the fron of the machine. it was working fine before i reflashed and updated to 2.1
