Manta M8P 2.0 Support
Hey guys after some work and free time, i got the Manta M8P 2.0 files up and running. config.cfg is the new pinout. Had some troubles as there were some discrepancies with the BTT manual. You will need to put the file in your printer and reference it in your printer config. You will need to SSH to get the device id and add to your printer config as well under [mcu] serial: You will need to flash the board manually, i have included the latest klipper firmware compiled for it. You can either use an SD card on the side of the board or flash via SSH. I have added my printer config for reference. Bear in mind i run AWD with 5160 steppers. Only issues i have encountered so far, klipper says the board runs at 400 mhz instead of 550. There is a bug with the part cooling fan. If you use the ratos include file it doesn't work, however if you copy the content of the include file in your overwrites it works. It uses the correct aliases in both cases, so not sure what's happening here. I have edited the other files for a possible pull request if interested to include the stuff in ratos natively.

Can’t flash firmware to manta m8p
Decided to treat my little beast to an upgrade, but for the love of me I can’t get it to flash the firmware.bin. I am using a cb1 on the manta. Got ratos running, from it but absolutely no dice for flashing the MCU. Tried different cards, fat 16, fat 32 nothing happens when I plug into the manta sd card slot. Even naming it FIRMWARE.BIN … Fixed: By doing the procedure with all components unhooked

How to check if linear rails are preloaded?
How do I know if I my rails are preloaded? I am asking as it feels like the z axis is unable to properly do the micro movements required for implementing the bed mesh. Very easy to see in first layers where part of the first layer will be perfect, usually where the print starts, another part will be slightly over extruded and another under extruded. Bed mesh variation of 0.15mm, so within the norm. And obviously how do I “preload” for better positioning accuracy 🙈
