Wait why the hell is the 4K X better than the pro? It is much more versatile in the capture resolutions vs the pro. You can actually pass through 4k144 and capture 4k60 with us with the pro if you pass though anything above 4K60 the highest it will capture is a 1080p signal..

Built a streaming PC but I can only use one monitor with a 4090 now?

now HDR is suddenly working but when I have HDR enabled the capture in OBS has a almost like blue tint to it and looks a bit washed out to a certain degree. this is with P010 and rec 2100. any idea how to solve this blue tint issue? It makes being able to play in HDR basically unusable

Update: suddently 4K240hz passthrough is working and it's claiming it's in HDR despite windows not allowing me to toggle it on. any reason how to fix this?

Try turning on HAGS in windows. That tends to fix encoder lag in W11 on my 4090

I think ill have to return it. I also can’t get 4K hdr pass through to work for the life of me let alone 4K240 hdr. I had high expectations for this card but seems like I have to wait until the next gen of capture cards again

I’ll fiddle more tomorrow to try and figure it out. Have a feeling that I’ll be returning the capture card though and going back to single pc cause 2 PCs turns my little office into a sauna

But I disable that one on the main pc for the stream pc to use as a monitor for obs, etc
