YT AV1 Encoding
I have started to dabble in multistreaming and want to get a propr AV1 encode setup to YT. I have a 4090 and am streaming at 3440x1440. Here are my current settings but when looking at the stream after the fact it doesn't seem to be as clear as I would expect. any suggestions?

I should also add I have 1gb upload and am only streaming to one other service. So upload/bitrate can be increased.
turn off two-pass and psycho
otherwise... gotta provide samples or something
just saying it doesn't look "as clear as you expect" doesn't give anyone anything to go on
Is the frame rate supposed to be 30
I dropped it to 30 previously due to encoder lag when using 60 fps. I would 100% prefer to have 60fps though.
Does that also apply to Nvenc encodes or only AV1?
The preview in OBS looks more true to life then YT does. Obviously there is compression with YT but from some of the samples I have seen in this discord when AV1 first came out my stream seems not as crisp.
Link to most recent stream before changing two pass/psycho.

Any high bitrate nvenc
appreciate it.
Well the preview doesn't have any compression applied to it, it's going to look exactly like the source lol
But otherwise yeah it's a little soft and has a couple artifacts around small details, but is lacking the macro blocking etc. that plagues 99% of streams
looks fine, focus on making good content instead
yeah content sucks 🙂 lol I appreciate your feedback.
Any thoughts on why I can't run 60fps without encorder lag? probably need a log for that though...
yeah would have to see a log
probably the ultrawide struggle + cod being a tough-to-run w/ capture game
yeah with my fresh install of windows and stripped down OBS it can do 60 FPS and doesn't show encoder lag but I get a massive game FPS hit. Wild to me they claim you can stream 4k. I cut down my 5120x1440 game to 3440x1440 aka well under 4k pixels and it struggles. 4090 fail. lol
I’ve streamed 4k with GPUs weaker than a 4090 for years
Try turning on HAGS in windows. That tends to fix encoder lag in W11 on my 4090
here are the settings I was told in this discord previously.
If you're on Windows 10, turn off HAGS and run OBS as administrator
If you're on Windows 11, do the opposite - turn on HAGS and do not run OBS as admin
Otherwise that's all good advice
But also again, a log of when you were streaming to yt with these settings would be helpful
