Experiences with replacing overcoat linings?
So I finally started wearing the coat seen in this WAYWT https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1330302949657804930 after a much-needed dry cleaning. It looks and feels great overall; fit is perfect. Thing is, the lining is somewhat torn and it's only a quarter lining in the first place. I'm not familiar with the cost/process of getting a tailor to replace the lining of an overcoat, let alone converting it to a full lining, but is this realistic to do? I read online it's generally a more expensive alteration (like the cost of labor might put it at close to $300 alone), and that I might be asked to source my own fabric (not a huge problem tbh). Anyone know more about this than I can gather from a couple of old reddit comments or is this mostly accurate?

American Trench socks?
Looking to pick up some new crew socks and keep hearing about this brand. What's so great about them? Genuinely asking since I didn't really know they existed until I was on this server. Seems they're made in USA. Also what colors (thinking solids) are good to have? Most of my socks are grey, black, or white but I think it's hard to have too many white socks tbh

used to browse r/watches occasionally
lost my timex recently so I'm looking for a replacement, and maybe for a bit of an upgrade
looking for something with a quartz movement (crucify me, watch nerds), budget $150-200 max. i'm a fan of field watches like the hamilton khaki field (out of my price range obviously) and the timex expedition, which is what i wore previously. any other brands i should look at?
