We were thinking you downloaded the Server pack, which is the version of your pack meant to be run by the server, not the players.

in the mojang launcher go to installations, and on your modpack you're going to click the Folder icon which will open your installation directory for that modpack. You will see your logs and crash-reports directories there which is where those files that are requested of you reside

if you're having a crash with 1.8.0, then you need to report the crash on 1.8.0 -- not the incompatible version.

1.6 is obsolete. Mods updated their support as Oculus updated. Therefor, you need to update.

My game crashes saying sodium does not accept any iris versions below 1.8.1
the only thing changed was fixing a security risk. they're the same internally. Have a good day mate, cheerios!

the only change from 1.21 to 1.21.1 was a serious security fix

they will work on 1.21.1, change their required mc version if they specified only 1.21

Mods from 1.21 will work on 1.21.1, and 1.21.1 clients can connect to 1.21 servers. There no is no reason to not be using 1.21.1 as a user.
