DWinchester - How does one display anchor rode ...
You have hit on all my concerns. I wont be working on this for a couple months, I have to pay for my crusing time with travel my partner wants. I have been thinking of adding a dc to dc power supply to feed pi and esp32s. And I do have some opto isolator I can try to clean up signals. I could also try an opamp comparator, that is what I am using on tach inputs.

Gregy - I believe it is your code that I am trying to use for chain counter. I am using hardware I developed years ago but the display hardware went away when other parts of my system were upgraded using sensesp. It uses magnetic reed switch on capstan and inputs from the up down switch controlling windlass. Changed to feet, have units specified as "f" in meta data which may be part of my problem. The other part is that it appears lot of noise is coming in on inputs as my results are very eratic. Did not get a chance to put scope on it and will now be away from boat for 2 months starting next week. My anchor alarm is a cortex ais.

Using vertical bar gauge to show tank levels. Since value is a ratio 0 to 1. In advanced gauge settings need to put in 1 for max value. The numeric display at bottom of gauge shows 0 % with half full tanks. The bar in gauge is correct.

Having a problem with ruder angle, trying to display as bar graph. Value ranges from -45 to +45 and displays as such on analog meter. Data Browser shows appropriate values with units of degrees. Bar graph is set up with -45 to 45 but a degree or two causes full deflection on bar graph. The small numeric display showen above bar is much larger then the value in the data browser.

I have a dedicated router for signalk. When the sensesp modules disappeared I connected my phone to router and scanned the network with a network analizer and saw all the new ip addresses. All but one of the sensesp remotes was missing.

Thank you, I have not had a chance to try anything yet as I have been involved in running sailing races in the Columbia George and sitting out using my boat for the committee start boat. Not conducive to much programing.

DWinchester - Is there a beginners guide to bui...
5 years ago I built a signalk system and used wsk and muddled my way through building some very nice displays, infact because of the displays I have been reluctant to convert to commercial hardware.
Things do not get better with age, I am talking about my age, and I can't even seem to add new insterments or resize them on my existing displays. Also I am seeing insterments such as your example with a digital display in the analog insterment and have only seen that in a tac meter.
So for basics how do you add insterments and resize them, how do you delete insterments.

Thanks for the response, but I am a little dense, I did not know the serial numbers are available or how to look at them or where to paste them back in. It would be great if I could specify serial numbers in the original code.
