Favorite series: socks - Topic of the day 12/26/24
as a person who can barely hold attention long enough to organize any clothes, matching socks is out of the question so I appreciate have alot of socks which are the same make (not necessarily color) so I can just dig around and grab two easily. Not fancy, pretty, or even really nice, but my favorite socks were a pack of like 12 from marshalls- stanley mid-weight socks in various shades of grey and feel nice on my feet. They are great but I fear I may never find another pack to replace my stock

it just seems as if you are trying to do overshirt things when this is not an quite overshirt shirt

I like the idea of the shirt over the hoodie but not the execution as it seems slightly small/thin fabric/slim cut for the layering involved. Particularly the way the collar and buttons drape

But things like pocket bags being made out of whatever surplus fabric was on hand, limited metal hardware, some wonky stitching…. Etc. I think the 40s jeans are most interesting in this regard, personally, because of how the war effort had an effect on jeans

Now if you are interested, apparently there are all sorts of intentional construction quirks to mimic the time period. Which is super cool if you appreciate that sort of thing but otherwise might come across as a mistake (which is what they were)
