tbh while I enjoy all the brands mentioned, I think ssstein engages in more asymmetry and "structural" experimentation than the other brands listed. I'd say they are a lot more avante than lemaire, rainmaker, or nicholson

My only physical interaction with the brand has been some wide pants that I unfortunately had to send back after ssense tricked me on the sizing. Very sad I don't think this brand will ever fit me on bottoms. But I did place an order recently for some knitwear and shirts I hope to post some feedback when they arrive. Maybe a jacket can work for me in future 🙏

I had those exact pair of ssteins. And honestly, they were sick as hell, really amazing weight and flow. My only issue was the ones I got from ssense were slightly smaller than the measurements and I couldn’t comfortably fit the waist. I haven’t tried the lemaires personally

Music and Fashion - Topic of the day 1/3/25

idk about how the art of music interacts with fashion but the punk movement musicians and crowds have certainly, and still constantly, influence my view of clothes. I like watching people wear whatever they want, with a hint of rebellion/otherness. For me this occurs most often at concerts, which are movement heavy places full of diy, influencing and restricting what is worn.
