Jumping in to say Comfort Colors blanks make great plain tees. I have 4 different colors now and they are so comfortable, and I love the cut.

They are a great jack-of-all-trades garment so for someone just starting to build up their wardrobe they are a good investment. Wear it to work, wear it on a date, wear it to the beach. Wear it over a t-shirt and shorts, wear it with a suit, etc.

I love an oxford shirt but all of mine are too slim now. I want some big shirt energy and a nice collar roll. I have a saved search on eBay and I'm just waiting for the right one to pop up.

Hopefully some other people with more experience can jump in but usually suede does not handle water well. You can spray them with a waterproofing treatment though.

If raw, yes they're very stiff at first. If you're biking in them, they'll break in quickly.

If it helps, I've never really experienced dye bleed from Story MFG pieces when doing a cold wash.
