There's a quilted lavender one coming this season that I'm excited for, I've loved my 'velvet' ones in the past but I felt like I always babied them too much
do they age well?
wear points might need patches eventually once the pile wears down

Theyāre extremely roomy so youāre probably ok sizing down
They are a bit cropped so be sure to check length
I'm with Narwhal, size for length with story IME. They're supposed to fit big and roomy and if you're sizing down because of that you can probably find alternatives that will work better for you. I typically wear a small and I've sized up to medium in a bit of story cos of the unisex/cropped sizing.

Has anyone successfully washed their story mfg stuff without nuking the dye
I tried to wash a pair of the jeans and the dye ran and faded/streaked pretty intensely and theyāre way less stiff than before
I have a pair of black peace pants that are crocking everywhere but I fear they just wonāt be as black/will fade similarly after I try to wash them
They've bled for me as well, haven't faded though
You can maybe set it with soda ash then do a syntrapol wash but not sure what else you can do
