Long pants for hot weather
I’m going backpacking soon in some hot and humid countries and I’m looking for some long pants.
I’ll be in some dusty places so ideally want something that I can wear in 30C+ heat that can also hide a bit of dirt. Open to synthetics and fast fashion - these trousers will get dirty and probably ripped or stained so nothing very expensive and/or delicate.
Ideally I’d like something that would look good with a both a tucked and untucked shirt. I’ll be cramming everything into a small backpack so linen is probably not going to work.
Requirements:
Airy/breathable material.
Straight/wide-ish cut
Machine washable
Difficult to crease
Dark colour
Mid or high rise
Up to £300 (ideally under £100)
Anyone have any ideas? I feel like I see a lot of women wearing pants that fit the description but I have no idea where they buy them. I’m open to trying women’s section if there is nothing that works for men

wool fabrics that don’t get shiny
I wear mostly worsted wool slacks for work and hate that they eventually get shiny on the ass from where I’ve been sitting at my desk all day.
It seems to be worst with traditional suiting fabrics - it has definitely happened with hopsack and plain-weave trousers. My felted flannel trousers seem to hold up better but I don’t like wearing these in summer.
Can anyone recommend fabric for trousers/slacks that are less likely to do get shiny? Do poly-blends help? Is gabardine or mohair better because it’s already a bit shiny so less noticeable?
I know I could just wear cotton chinos or jeans but I like the drapey look and feel of wool (or wool-like) fabrics.

oversized and slightly cropped knit jumpers under £300
I recently got a pair of Lemaire indigo twisted belted pants, which I love, but all my existing jumpers are a bit too slim to match the sort of billowing leg of the jeans.
I am looking for an oversized and slightly cropped knit jumper, ideally without too much of a ribbed hem.
I tried on a Studio Nicholson jumper that fits the bill pretty perfectly, but I would rather not spend £425 if I can avoid it.
Could anyone recommend anything similar, ideally under £300?

shoes for office
I am looking for some inspiration for a brown leather shoe silhouette I can wear in a (pretty relaxed) business casual office that also looks good in more casual outfits. Not looking for specific brand/model recs, just the type of shoe I can base my searches off. My restrictions are:
Not a tyrolean
Not a boat shoe/ranger moc etc
Not a loafer
At the moment I’m considering just getting brown 1461 docs but I was wondering if there is something more interesting out there?

How hot do you wash clothes?
I see a lot of people in here saying they only wash all their clothes cold. My normal temp for anything that can be washed in the machine is 30C, but il set it to 40-60C if things are looking particularly dirty.
I guess I’m a bit of a messy eater and I cycle a lot, so I often get oil or bike grease on my clothes. For white T shirts I sometimes even have to crank it to 90C to get them coming out looking properly clean.
How are you guys getting stains out on a cold wash so easily? Or are you just more careful not to spill shit on your clothes?
