I’d try the soaking in cold water and a small amount of hair conditioner thing. You will have to wear them while wet to stretch them out. Pulling down on the legs may get you some extra length.

Tips to keep pleated pants... pleated (without an iron)?

Hang them up with one of those hangers that clamps the hem of the trousers. Also wool is a lot better at holding a crease than cotton.

YouTubers rapidly run out of things to talk about so the same stuff tends to get rehashed. The suit is something that is split 50:50 as an example of when the “rule” isn’t going to apply.

Brighten up an ecru/ivory jacket?

I can’t really understand how the washing product has darkened your jacket. The main difference for the dark products would be removing the optical brighteners that are in many washing products to get your whites to keep looking white. These tend to fade dark colours.

Loafer Fit

Any tips for getting out heavily set in creases?

Steam and lots of pressure on the iron. Also there’s a thing called a clapper you can use to press down on the fabric after ironing until it has cooled and the moisture dissipated.

Howies t shirts are a pretty solid option at £20 a pop. They are due a restock. Under a jumper you might want long sleeves to reduce itching if that is a problem for you. Other good bet is Armor Lux.

You don’t need to wash after rain unless they are dirty. A bit of surface mud should brush off.

Wool trousers

Get one of those hangers that grips at the hem. A pressing cloth is a good idea - any clean cotton cloth will do. Alternatively a steamer will get wrinkles out without the need to iron.
