Brown Suede Loafer Recs?
I think most people would get Rancourt loafers resoled. It is $80, and many of the leathers they use will look close to brand new 10 years later. That said, all of their rubber/LH/leather soles are excellent in their loafers/mocs range.

Brown Suede Loafer Recs?
All the options above are good, and I would add Sid Mashburn. My brother has a pair, and I think they look great.

Yeah, just wanted to warn you might be signaling something you are totally unaware of to any southern transplants. You’d probably have people randomly coming up asking where in Texas you are from.

The only other thing is the light wash have a super preppy connotation in parts of the southern U.S. and specifically Texas

Indigo is the classic in style right now. I would say true to size but I size up or else they are tight in the thighs.

I am similar. I prefer a break on low top sneakers, but a break just doesn't seem right with boots and high top sneakers with looser fitting pants. Cowboy boots look good with basically any type of break to me. Definitely no break with loafers. It is pretty remarkable that every type of break is also in style to some extent right now.

Yeah, I just associate loafers with Spain/Italy, especially tassel and bit loafers, but it has been a while since I have spent extended time there. I could also just be misremembering because driving shoes definitely seemed much more popular there.

Jeans by fabric type
I don’t know what your budget is, but Madewell 1991 straight leg are probably my favorite stretch jeans. Shockoe Atelier is another more premium option. Both are more of a 501 fit with slightly roomier thighs. More relaxed fits don’t really benefit from stretch imo.

For button downs, I just bought Portuguese Flannel ones on the current sale. A lot is sold out now, but it is a very a high quality shirt for ~$70 new. Spier & Mackay for OCBDs, but it seems like they are always out of the most popular colors.
My real advice is buying secondhand though.
