Black stripes

Created a reterraforged world with chunky, and I’m using DH. I originally had an issue with LOD loading, but now it’s an issue with black stripes appearing on close LODs. Not sure what’s going on

How i get rid of that?

hi im building an map for my school home work, and those random generated vanilla world gets on the way(same with small lava pools or trees), i want to know if there is a way of getting rid or smth
Solution:
Is the issue that DH is generating new chunks outside of your map? If so, you can set generation mode to pre-existing only in dh's settings to stop that

Black patches with DH and Photon shaders 1.20.1

Supplementeries is a known incompatible mod, any known fix? and what about embeddium should i swap?

Title, also is there any known fix for this, either a mod that makes supplementaries work or some sort of edit of supplementaries, if this is not the case is there any known mod that adds the "cog block" (aka vertical redstone) into the game

How would I go about fixing this yellow snow?

Running Iris 1.7.3, Bliss shaders at latest indev, and DH 2.1.2-a. Noteworthy is that my Quality preset always sets to Custom, even after a config reset. Snow only returns to normal after disabling Bliss' seasonal colors, but I really wanna use those :(

How do I generate 1000+ render distance on a pre-generated world?

Hi, Ive ran a chunky task that pre-generated the chunks in a 2000 chunk radius. Id like to now generate LODs for these chunks, and Ive left my game on overnight to do so. When I checked up on it in the morning it seemed like only a 256 chunk diamond area had chunks pregenerated. My settings cpu settings are set to aggressive, and the quality to high, but it seems to stagnate after that distance. Is there anything I could do to allow it to generate past the 256 chunk diamond? Also render distance...

Minecraft crashes every 30-40 minutes or so

As stated in the title I'm on a hardcore world with mods on ATlauncher and apparently either DH or indium is causing the crashes

LODs stop generating after a while even though render distance is set to 4048

Ive left my computer on over night, but distant horizons has stopped generating new chunks after an error was logged in the chat about the feature phase. Its only a couple error entries, but that seems to completely stop generation of distant chunks

FPS boosting

Out of the optimization mods here, which ones are redundant or actually reducing my fps? and any suggestions for any mods that might help? I was getting 60 - 90 fps until i decided to download more mods, now i am getting around 50-80 fps. I am using mc 1.21 and bliss shaders as well. Please help, I am very new to modding.

Best way to generate LODs?

Hello, I'm quite new to Distant Horizons and have dug around the FAQs and some help threads but I cant make heads or tails of the info so far. I want to pre generate LODs, I've heard Chunky is sub par at this but Im not sure about how to properly use the built in generator, I've seen people say leave it overnight on high settings and others say just have it on while playing. I just want to be able to see quite far into the horizon and not have to wait for new LODs to load as I'm walking while not chugging performance or having stutters, I guess I just need some clarification all the information here is a bit overwhelming at times. I hope this isnt cleary covered somewhere I missed I apologize if it has....

LODs won’t render

I recently watched a tutorial on how to use reterraforged with DH. I used the most used tutorial, which consisted of creating two “Simply Optimized” instances in different versions, generating terrain with chunky in 1.20.2, then moving the save to the 1.20.4 then using DH. I made a 6000 chunk radius for chunky, and when I put the save in 1.20.4, the LODs would render, but not nearly as much as ive seen. I even set LOD radius to 512, but it seemed to keep a 32-64 chunk radius until I actually tra...

Server Side Chunk Loading?

so im currently running a 1.21 fabric server for my friends using terraliths terrain generation and i thought it would be a cool idea to pre load the dh chunks for everyone so i manually went and loaded them up and it worked fine. however i want to expand the world border and have those new chunks also loaded but i aint doing that manually. so i was wondering if there would be an easy solution to this? i would also like to pre generate those chunks on the server to reduce lag. originally i thoug...

DH LOD file locations

In a singleplayer world, are the end, nether, and overworld LOD files all stored in the same place? I know in servers DH separates the SQLITE files by dimensions. I found a set of 3 different SQLITE files in the data folder of my singleplayer world but I can't seem to find anything else.
Solution:
Single Player: - Overworld: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite - Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite - End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite - Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite ...

Not working
