I can see the past and I don't know if it's normal
I'm playing on a server using the plugin version of DH support. Those trees and houses are no longer there, but I can see them still if I go far enough away for the chunks to become LODs. I don't know if this is normal or not. Is there any way to fix it? It doesn't really effect gameplay much at all for me, but it'd still be nice to see the present lol.
I'm on Fabric 1.21, the server is running Purpur 1.21. The old chunks show with and without shaders.

try increasing cpu load in dh's settings, then break/place a few blocks in those chunks
That did not fix it unfortunately
I don't know why it's specifically that spot because I can definitely see LOD versions of other things I've changed in the world
@Puhpine (GMT +2) Overdraw should have its DC command...
This looks like overdraw prevention issue
Vanilla chunks are not loading in time
You can try decreasing your vanilla RD or installing performance mods
Usually you can tune the overdraw prevention in DH settings, but shaders override it and take control over it
If you shader does not allow for OvDrPr tuning all all the previous steps failed, the only thing left is to make a feature request to the shader dev and/or changing the shader
while i do agree with you that overdraw prevention should have its own DC command, i dont think overdraw prevention is the issue here
lmao
"i can see the past and i dont know if its normal"
just update the chunks enough and they'll go to the present
you can also install bobby and increase your render distance and it will make it less noticable because you have to get further for them to render and at that point youre far enough away you would need to be actively looking for it
I just saw this and haven’t read further into the post
Sorry
