LODs beyond world border
I have set my config to wherin LODs should not be generated beyond a small range outside the World Border, yet it still appears to generate LODs of pre-existing chunks beyond it. Did I make an error in syntax or so?

Frequent server lag/freezes with DHSupport plugin
I'm running a paper server on 1.21.4 and was trying to get the DHSupport plug-in to work. It does generate LODs and everything successfully but I'm having big performance issues on the server - every like 10-20 seconds the server will freeze up (mostly mobs and stuff will freeze for a second) and then it will continue. Based on that I suspect it's a memory issue, which makes sense as unfortunately the server only has 8GB ram total (I dedicate 6 to just the server). Might just be that thats not e...
One Build in the world is covered by black and green bars
Everthing else but this, works and looks absolutely amazing so I was just trying to figure out if this fixable and if there's a setting I missed that I need to change to fix this.
I removed starlight as it was installed previously but even after that the problem still persists...

DH crashes game after a few seconds
Im using distant horizons 2.3.0-b-1.21.4 but when i enter a world my fps keeps dropping drastically until its at 0 where the game just crashes (takes about 5-10 seconds). This happens while the distant horizons rendering isnt even enabled. Ive attached a crash report.
Overhangs not being see through
Is there an option I am missing or are you just not meant to see under/through overhangs on DH?
DH command does not autofill
i'm trying to pregenerate my Forge server with /dh pregen, but the command seemingly doesn't exist (using the beyond depth modpack, added manually)

Question about lods vs chunks and playing newer versions
When I use the built in world generator feature, does it actually generate chunks or only lods for those chunks? If I generate a lot of lods with the world generator, and then update to a new Minecraft version, will I have to travel super duper far to get to the updated chunks?
Server crashes on start (forge-2.3.0-b-1.18.2)
Hey, I wanted to add DH to my Modpack. However after adding it to the server, it won't start. I've added the debug logs.
Differences between Distant Horizons and Farsight?
So I'm having trouble finding the difference between the two mods. However one of my friend is having more performance-related issue with Distant Horizons than they did with Farsight.
If someone can help me telling me about the more technical side of differences between the two mods, I would greatly appreciate it....
Solution:
From the description it sounds like Farsight simply keeps chunks loaded after they leave your normal view distance.
Distant Horizons creates LODs, which are simplified versions of those chunks, in order to reduce the load on the client machine.
Distant Horizons also has proper multiplayer support, meaning you don't actually have to travel to all the chunks in order to load them. A server with DH installed will just send the LOD data while you're playing like normal....
How do you disable rendering these?
I feel like some performance can be freed up by disabling these underground gaps.

Consistent crashing when connecting to server with DH on multiple Mac’s
on MC 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.0, DH 2.2.0-a (also tested with 2.3.0-b
Hey! I’m having an issue where whenever I include Distant Horizons on my mod pack, my two friend on MAC get consistent crashing ONLY when connecting to the server, they can launch the game and play singleplayer just fine. Tested with and without Distant Horizons on the server itself.
One of my mods is Oculus for shaders, thought that may be the culprit but after testing without Oculus installed the crashing still occurs. I can send a full mod list if needed but one of my mods, “Mod Optimizer” lists them all out in the attached log file, I’ve attached both the most recent log and debug file generated by my friend testing it without Oculus installed. I would attach a crash report but the game doesn’t generate one with this crash. ...
Solution:
Try disabling instanced rendering in DH's settings. It's under advanced, graphics, generic rendering iirc
weird color for leaves and grass in lod
any idea why the leaves and grass in the distant horizon chunks have like the weird default color? using photon shader if that matters

Vanilla Cloud Fade / DH Cut Clouds
Good afternoon, just wanted to know if there is a way to:
- Extend Vanilla cloud render distance to match DH distance
- Or either make DH clouds not suddenly disappear outside the limits (give them a fade like vanilla clouds have)...
Solution:
You can expand vanilla cloud range with some mods
I think Sodium extra or Embeddium allows to extend vanilla cloud range
Better Clouds also allowed to extend it
And there was I more mod specifically created to extend it
Though I don’t think they will be able to match DH...

No Support for 1.21 DHS?
I've noticed that there is no support for 1.21 on DHS, are there any possible remedies for this?
Lag in client after error messages.
The entire client shows as not responding for like 5-10 seconds as this error message pops up. Only happens with distant horizons in the mods folder. Not sure what I'm messing up. It also has the OpenGL debug message over and over constantly, even when it isn't lagging. Modpack is FTB Evolution. I attached the section of that error and the full log. Thanks for any help!
